PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | March 2014

You bought what? That's an autocorrect mistake, right?

Edit: Top of the page recommendation, buy Virtua Tennis 4.

They are indeed calling it a "laundry bag"

But i'm not sure what i'm looking at. I guess it's something to wrap around your clothes.

With the PS3 version you get a tote bag:

I didn't even know that that kind of bad is called a laundry bag.

Coz I can't imagine how it'll be for laundry due to size. And I only ever saw it being used just as any other bag. :/

Yeah, it's kind of weird to call it a laundry bag, I think most people would just call it a carry bag or a nylon bag.

That looks like a normal drawstring bag to me. I guess you can use it to store clothes while you're in a gym.

Maybe it's actually 5 times larger than normal.

We're getting so many niche Japanese games on our Vita, and I'm glad. Sony must be working hard to make that happen. But why don't we have Phantasy Star Online 2 yet? C'mon Sony, if Sega is being stupid about bringing it over here, help them out a bit or something.

Hmm I think I used something similar when i was 7 or 8 years old to store my boots :D

Of course they were all plain and boring looking since it was just a year after communism ended here

Oh shit! Insta-buy. I have 'em both on iOS but the Vita is the perfect platform for 'em.

I didn't get'em on my iPod because of controls. I'll surely get this on Vita.
It reminds me of Gripshift, I've never got to play it though :/

Oh and Table Top Racing has been announced too. It's a Micro Machines clone

My Vita's home is the right pocket of my coat, I play every day on the subway. You should definitely consider bringing it

I'm afraid someone would steal it :(

So Miku is about to have a concert in the city near where I live... where, 2 hours drive. The VVIP location cost around 140 bucks.

For a concert involving an imaginary character that's not even real and only projected by holographic devices, it's surprisingly popular, huh.

Edit: 140, not 14, blah missed a zero.

That's in Japan, right Banana?

No, in Jakarta. In the city's most prominent venue, even! Some of the folks from my Vita club are already making plans to go there--in fact, it's from them I got the news about the concert.

I admit, I am somewhat curious. Dunno if I want to throw 140 bucks for watching a concert show of an imaginary holographic character though.

Well, to put things into perspective: "For a singer that's not even real, she's surprisingly popular".

Nothing will beat Miku's first concert (ミクの日感謝祭・初音ミクソロコンサート~こんばんは、初音ミクです。~).

Too bad they didn't heed the advice of the sound director and "fucked up" the BD. :/

They've been having Miku concerts outside Japan for a long while now, I think.

I really dont think thats Sony's doing.
All of that is thanks to publishers like NISA, Aksys, Xseed, and Tecmo Koei who have always brought over niche japanese games to the west.

All Sony has done is get indies on board with Vita, and #jrpgvita which nobody except Shahid knows anything about

I personally see it as a umm 'music exhibition', featuring music from various artists presented by a mascot.

Don't worry bro. Some people don't even acknowledge my existence until I've played Tearaway. xD

You've played it already? Social pressure has worked well xD

And Borderlands 2. After seeing last trailer I have a little more hope about it. It looks decent enough and they still have time for polishing the game more. Death animations (or the lack of them) was kind of sad but I'll survive without them.

And that Football Manager game as well. Which I'm actually interested in because it's on Vita.

Football Manager Vita might just be the game that could get my friend to buy a Vita, even if it'd be the only thing he'll play it on.

I still need more info about the save data transfer though.

Considering that there are singers who don't make their own songs (or at least not the ones they use for their careers).

In case of Vocaloid, I see the music there entirely as the work of the artist. They've wrote the lyrics, did the instrumentals, and also fully did the tuning of the singing voice.

The only thing they usually don't do are the PVs/MVs.

In case of the concert (at least ones I watched), it's more of one band doing the various songs

Edit: Or perform, rather.

Wow. SRW OG2 is kinda more complicated than a standard SRW.

Squads, Weapons and all these unfamiliar faces and I don't know who's strong or fodder.

Or you know, you can just buy PDf instead.

Indeed. It's been really hard for me to not just buy the PS3 version.

My roommate is a big PC gamer and he loves it. It looks hella fun and I'm excited to try it out on a console where I'm more comfortable but the lack of word on it has me antsy. I was hoping for it to see a release this summer but that may be wishful thinking.

This month I rejoined with my PS3. In the latest years I've been struggling to play on home consoles, I usually start games and then take forever to finish them, and I rarely go for the 100%. Now, in March, I finally finished Resistance 2, Uncharted 2 and now I'm finally going further in inFamous, which I started respectively back in November, July and two years ago. Then I should finish MGR(started back in January).

(for once, I made a non-vita related post in this thread :lol )

I got my Shield. I honestly REALLY love this thing. The only thing I don't like is the black levels don't compare to the Vita's OLED. Oh, and it's certainly not a looker except in a way that only a hardcore nerd like myself can like. But otherwise, the Shield makes me wish so bad the Vita had better sticks and triggers. I am surprised by the d-pad as well. It's way better than I thought it would be (it looks kind of like the 360 controller's d-pad, but it's much better).

How is the weight?

now you are making me want one...
thinking of using my Note3 + DS4 with Limelight

It's definitely heavy but I haven't been bothered by the weight yet.

Yeah that would probably be pretty good too. It's just nice to have an integrated experience. Right now I'm playing Rayman Fiesta Run which now has FULL controller support so it feels like playing a console game other than the auto-running. It's so nice and responsive, and whereas I've had performance issues on that game on every device I own, the Shield is 60fps 100% of the time with it.

I would give just about anything to have a Vita in that kind of form factor. I hate the Vita's analog sticks soooooo much. :(

Wow. Has Amazon ever been so wrong in their estimated delivery time?

My Silicone Case and Screen Protector for Vita was due on April 4, and it came today. Sweet.

Any tips on applying the screen protector? Does that bathroom trick really work?
