Yup. Seeing how well this generation is selling already, I bet EA are kicking themselves that World Cup '14 is only for PS3, 360 and the PC version using the same engine.

That decision is more mind boggling by the day. The PS4 version of FIFA 14 is sitting fairly high on nearly every European chart. They're just throwing away money by going last gen only. Very unlike EA to do something like that.

It's crazy. I personally wouldn't buy it unless there were significant gameplay changes after playing FIFA '14 a lot, but there's millions that would.

The real surprise here is Plants vs. Zombies on Xbox 360.

Its legs are really, really good. Its definitely qualified for sleeper hit status IMO. Even more surprising in that its outpacing the XBOne version, which is not the status quo with cross-gen titles at all.

The 360 has become the default casual console in the UK.

It's cheap, has a plethora of cheap software built up over the years, and it's sold a lot so people are more likely to buy what their friends have.

I think MS are going to have a lot of trouble getting that large casual userbase of the 360 to switch over, many of them are content with what they have and will continue to just purchase COD and Fifa for last-gen for years to come.
