Some laps at Mount Panorama with the R500 in the rain. Not the best driving, but at least you can enjoy the fantastic vistas here.

I probably could've used one less LMP and included one of the RS -series, but not a bad selection and we're hopefully getting the R8 LMS this or next week.2012 Audi A1 quattro
2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus
2002 Audi R8 LMP900
2011 Audi R18 TDI LMP1
2014 Audi R18 e-tron quattro
2013 Audi R8 LMS Ultra GT3
1989 Audi 90 IMSA GTO
1989 Audi 90 IMSA GTO
That's one badarse looking car.
That's one badarse looking car.
I wonder if that means all the pCARS non-licensed LMP cars we see will be replaced by the Audis, or just in addition to them?

Added info to the OP.Despite almost losing hope at one point, Audi is now officially coming to Project Cars!

EDIT: Official Oculus support is on it's way too, I gotta loan the thing some day and test it out.
Yes,Speaking of release, do we know when that is? Or what the full game will actually be, other than cars and tracks?
I have access... but it's been a LONG time since I've been there. Hell, I don't even think I've fired up the game since it hit Steam :/Yes,
you read the forum, have access I mean, it is all there?
But as mentioned before, release is still planned for Q4 2014. Game it self still in alpha, not future complete, so I don't know what can be shared (outside the forum) and not, but they are well within their timeline/plans.
Works quite nicely for me with a 270X, only rain and large grids taking the framerate down (somewhat high settings, DS2X AA).Can anyone let me know how updated builds are with AMD cards? I just shelled out $500 for a 290x and am a bit nervous now!
I couldn't get 60 fps yesterday at the start of Azure Circuit or Azure Coast with a GTX 770 and 4.5 GHz 3570k. It went to 60 fps once I got past the starting area, but it was sad since that was even with the really jaggy "high" AA setting. I had to turn off downsampling.Works quite nicely for me with a 270X, only rain and large grids taking the framerate down (somewhat high settings, DS2X AA).
Pit areas cause a big impact on framerate, don't know why. I hope everything will be smooth once they clean up everything.I couldn't get 60 fps yesterday at the start of Azure Circuit or Azure Coast with a GTX 770 and 4.5 GHz 3570k. Check the shadow/reflection/env map setting (don't know the exact name, top of the settings, after the AA ones), they are really performance heavy, before altering the AA.I couldn't get 60 fps yesterday at the start of Azure Circuit or Azure Coast with a GTX 770 and 4.5 GHz 3570k. Gave it a go, it is getting closer to something ready to play out of the box (not quit there yet). And you could check the Games Design part of the forum for your previous question, as I don't know what is allowed to share outside of the forum and notI have access... but it's been a LONG time since I've been there. I'm sure it'll come with time (I'm certain Mantle support has been mentioned on on the WMD forum) but it's AMD so who knows. As an example, AMD haven't helped ISI with optimisation in rF2 where as Nvidia have...hopefully pCARS is different! Thanks! I know SMS are in bed with the green machine but i was pretty shocked to see how a gtx 760 was pantsing a 290X. Obviously they haven't reached the optimization stage yet, but I am hoping there focus on AMD hardware for consoles will lead to better performance for AMD cards in the PC realm.
Yeah, it blows just how many games generally perform better on green than red cards. Infuriating given how much "bang for buck" etc. ATI cards usually are, but far fewer titles have big issues on nVidia cards than the other side. Thanks! Will this game support T500RS on PS4?
Not sure if this has been posted yet: http://www.wmdportal.com/projectnews/project-cars-meet-project-morpheus/
Will be interesting to see if pCARS will have to make concessions in order to enable VR on the PS4 version.
nVidia right now is the better choice, if that's the same in 5/6 months time???, but now definitely nVidiapCARS GAF, any significant difference in performance between AMD and nVidia cards in pCARS? More specifically R9 280x and GTX770.
I also vaguely remember something about that (nVidia tech), but I have not seen them mentioning it in the "particle system update" thread.Wow, smoke looks great. I didn't even know they had implemented it.
This is Nvidia's tech right?
edit: it's probably gonna kill my GTX570 tho. I hope any upgrade I do in the future deals with pCARS well enough. Thinking of an 800 series GTX when they release.
Nah. The good thing is smoke now is sensible to light, which is neat. Still needs some working and, hopefully, will take advantage of the nVidia tech to ake it even better.Wow, smoke looks great. I didn't even know they had implemented it.

Recently filmed pCARS videos that really show how awesome the game is

Why can't I play this now. Should have invested when I had the chanceThe game is starting to sound really, really nice. I believe majority of the cars still don't have all the sounds updated for all the newest tech they've been adding, but the ones that do sound really fantastic.
I'm also liking that the lighting is slowly going towards the GT6 style in terms of color balance and it's all really coming together. Not much time for development though as they're going to feature complete very soon, but the game does need quite a bit polish and it's about time to get the game finished so I'm okay with cutting more features and getting the done. SMS are hoping to support the game well after launch so hopefully the game will do well and get lots of post launch content.

Now if I could only learn ANYTHING about PS4 compatibility with the legacy wheels..
