Take it or leave it

You'd think the longer we go without a veteran, the likelihood of getting one day after day goes up slightly.

Too bad this logic doesn't work with Mr. Sakurai! I'm expecting a new AT.

Predictions, eh? I never did one, but always thought it was cool that people would get it right at times.

Showing either Find Mii stage or Tomodachi stage.

Speaking personally, Anna has always been one of my picks as a general Fire Emblem representative, given how she's been in practically every entry to the series. She's technically more of a constant than Marth is. And her role as a merchant puts a neat theoretical angle on how her moves might work, as someone who theoretically has almost every FE weapon-type on hand.

So, I can dig it.
I don't know much about Fire Emblem, but Anna intrigues me now more than the Chrom's and Lucina's being tossed around now that you guys are bringing it out. She's apparently a heavily recurring character since the start, looks battle ready, and has an intriguing approach to a possible moveset. Anna would actually be a perfect representative now that I think about it. Just basing on aesthetics alone, she's counterintuitive to the typical Fire Emblem hero (mostly blue-haired clad in blue male). I'm gonna root for her now too.

4/3/14
14 starting characters in melee
3rd and 4th new characters
Peach, Bowser, Ice Climbers, Zelda, Sheik
Ice Climbers are two seperate characters
Ice Climber reveal tonight.
I'm doing this every night until we get them dammit.

I'm not even sure I want to know what a PAUNCHFALCON is

Saw this a while ago, I like the idea and I think it'd be better if the Bionis and Mechonis fought in the background

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXZFroguKLc
Y'know, I have quite a few ideas of my own. My favorite's still the modified Bions' Leg (you'd get the big vista of Gaur Plains and some of its peculiar arches, but rotated such that the Mechonis looms in the background), although I can see some merit for Eryth Sea (floating platforms, ho) or (late-ish-game spoilers)
Fallen Arm (for the reasons stated prior - good mix of bionic and mechanic) or Mechonis Field (lots of moving parts would make for an interesting battle arena, albeit likely not a tourney-legal one)
.

However, the idea depicted in the video never even occurred to me. Showing off both of the titans in their final positions like this would also be pretty awesome. (Stage is remarkably bland, mechanically, and the Mechonis and Bionis only look to be about a few hundred Shulks high at best due to bad scale, but no reason any of that'd have to stay as-is in a proper stage.)

I would love a stage where you are on the Bionis during a fight with the Mechonis, and the Mechonis attacks hit your stage.

On that note, why has Sakurai never made a level with neutral AI adds as the environment hazard? Have mechonis troops drop in and attack. 1-shot kill troops that add some chaos and excitement.

Video games are meant to be watched, dont'cha know?

And that is why the Twitch App is praised! More spectator mode for every game! :P

Oh god what thread was this in? There's like 10 of them.

Anyway I predict Captain Falcon as our Friday megaton.
I've been predicting him every night >_>

This one. Not much to see in that thread tbh.

It would be nice to see the Captain in HD glory. We're overdue for a completely unpredictable reveal like Lucario, Marth, Peach, etc..

Closest would be the Great Fox from Melee.

I do agree, the stage itself is basically Smashville with a new skin. I just liked the idea of fighting in the foreground of the Mechonis/Bionis fight with maybe their fight being the stage hazard (Stray pieces falling onto the stage, a sword cuts a small portion off IDK, I'm just throwing ideas)

Welcome to the best team. :P :)
