Well we got ALBW we certainly do know that there are other "heroes". I think Zelda should be on a good way storywise.

To be fair, Brawl's Ganandorf design is from Twilight Princess, which takes place long after the events of OoT, which Melee's Dorf's design comes from. After a couple of centuries it should be expected that he gets a bit of a gut.

It already is since Dark Links were spawned with the Dark Mirror, and The Interlopers are all portrayed as Dark Link as well.
That theory makes no sense since they had a flashback to the times of OoT when he was sent to the Twilight Realm. He was old as hell there too for no reason.
Also, he was pretty athletic in game.

How does he look like Ganon? Other than the orange hair. He doesn't exactly look like a giant pig, not does he exactly look like a Gerudo. I don't think anyone has every previously claimed that Ganondorf was Akuma's long lost twin brother, or Nosferatu Zodd's cousin.
My argument wasn't based on looks, it was based on themes, allusions in the battlefield, fighting style, and so on.

Nah, it was just THAT shocking to me. And strangely Skyward Sword was the only game with that extreme pixelation. Replayed all of my Wii games afterwards to make sure - some of them were a bit pixelated, but none of them to the degree Skyward Sword was.
That was an estimate. Just measured - it's two meters. Anyways, 3m are impossible. Not enough space in the room as it is set up now. It's the only room I have, so I also have my bed, a desk with PC, a shelf and two wardrobes in the room.
I like your perseverance.

Trust me, there is. After years of playing on a 25" TV I wanted a noticable difference. When you play lots of splitscreen games you'll also be grateful for every inch you have more.
The 25" now functions as a lovely PC monitor, so I'm set for the next few years.
Who am I kidding, the REAL reason I bought that thing is to be able to enjoy SSB4 in all of its glory on a huge-ass TV

He most likely got sent to the Twilight Realm a while after OoT ended since the Sages depicted in that scene are not the ones from OoT.
I highly doubt the owner of the triforce of power would let a little bit of gut impede his magic judo fighting style.
