Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 6: Final Destination confirmed for not fun

If we don't learn about HUD on the 3DS version from this Direct, I'm gonna be pretty dissapointed.
Oh who am I kidding, it could be 20 minutes of Kirby taunt spam and I'd still be happy as hell.

Nope, Ridley's tag mate is a sub from Steel Diver. Their final smash is a Landmaster.
Complete domination of land, sea, and air!

I believe that a final smash should be the Steel Diver submarine: it falls from above like a landmaster, except it can't be controlled and instead it simply slides off of the stage's slopes until it completely falls off. Virtually guaranteed death for all who touch it.

What if the stage is completely flat?

If Smash had a limited edition, what would you want included and how much would you pay? (nothing unrealistic like a complete OST)
 
This is gonna be BIG.

I expect:

3DS footage.
Wii U footage.
New stages and game modes.
Possible release date?
Possible demo?
Connectivity news.
New titles, hopefully.

1. did Kamiya really retweet this direct or was it a joke?

2. when is this on the east cost and can your view at a later time like other directs, my internet lags and don't want to mess up while watching?

3. what is the largest gap between a dedicated direct and the relase? does this support that the game will release in summer instead of nov/dec as expected?

Don't expect release date like 2 weeks or a month after the Direct, since they make a SmashbrosJP twitter account means they'll keep building hype for smash, which may take a few month.

1. more likely misunderstood

2. 6EST; You can view it later if you missed it but you are more likely to get spoiled if you are not being careful

4. Pokemon Direct in Jan. They announced release date, and release date was Oct. 9 months between.
 
All of my hype for this. Character reveals will be great, but I really want to see more gameplay videos and hopefully new modes of play.

They already have MK8 set for May, so unless it comes this very month (of course it won't) there's no way it's making it before E3 (June). Also they've just had one of the worst game droughts of any console ever, why would they suddenly release everything at the same time? Smash will come in Fall, September at best.
 
LOL, while waiting for the POTD, I closed my eyes for like just a minute and ended up falling asleep. Smh

Anyways, super hyped for the Smash direct. I'm ready for that release date.

EDIT: Shit never mind haha, it was a month before release! Woooo

Anyway, I'm really excited. At the very least we should get Palutena and a release date, and hopefully new modes. Anything after that is just bonus as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, it makes more sense for a release date to be after e3, but the direct has gotten too hyped to think rationally now :S
