I like how the kid that won it was never really a big name before or after the event. (Of course that's horribly anecdotal; I'm sure he probably competed in the game and did well outside of Evo, but I never heard about him when Brawl MLGs and Apexes were happening.)

He didn't really appear anywhere else before or after, so....

edit: apparently in an Evo 2009 side event, he got 9th out of 26 in doubles, no singles result though?

So many memories ;;. All these majoras mask references make me sad knowing skull kid won't make it in. Probably my favourite villain in gaming and he could have bolstered the games extremely weak line-up of villains.

Guess i'll just have to wait however many years till the next game (assuming that happens).

Why would the 3DS version be the main version? You'd expect the bigger brother version with better graphics/physics to be the superior one.

The 3DS version is the main version simply because the 3DS has a sleep mode. Starting the game at any time with no loading is great. Unlike the terrible WiiU Menu. Add in 3D, and its no contest.

Isn't Nintendo supposed to have an update this summer that makes it start up faster? I think it's fine right now but I remember that sometime last year that an update was coming.
