I can't think of any movies series that has gotten a lot of figures that isn't based on a pre-existing anime series sadly.

On a side note, called NYC ISC to ask about my 1/7 Tony Version Miku that has been stuck in customs since March 16th, said I would have to contact the seller (Mandarake) and ask them to make an inquiry. FUCK MY LIFE.
double side note, really want to buy either Figma or 1/8 GSC Mami Tomoe, thoughts? which way do I go on this?

Those blogged pics from last month still bother me. I don't see how it could have changed drastically in a month. Feels more likely that they delayed just until the fallout from those pics blew over. I still haven't merged it with my monthly order.

That's fair. I just have a hard time believing MF would screw up something like that when they've put out more complex figures with no issues. Still, we'll see soon enough.
I will say that I don't think there are typically calculated reasons behind most delays, and that it's most likely just being unable to get enough volume through QC on time.

Don't get me wrong - If she looks good, I'll buy her. But I'm not going to pay for her until I see some user pics on MFC.
As things are, I don't have any figures for October -> December outside of the ArtFX+ Rocket Raccoon. And I'm pretty serious about keeping it that way. I got into figure collecting like a lot of people because of the Marvel / DC bishoujos, so that's to say through being a comic fan. And while I don't plan to stop collecting, I'd definitely like to curb my figure spending back toward that direction (comic-related figures). I'll still definitely be up for things like Dark Angel Olivia and I'm very much looking forward to Koto's Invader Lum, but figure prices are starting to get crazy, and I don't really want to end up spending 30-40k monthly on these things.

I stopped with Hot Toys because they're far too expensive. And big.
I've got the 89 Batmobile that I'll need to sell, because it's so big
I'm still collecting them. Altho I'm more into a few specific lines now. The good thing about them is they retain most of their value. Even used ones that were displayed can be sold for MSRP value no problem.
I'm really tempted to sell a few older ones. I've noticed that even the used ones were sold for double the MSRP. I'll probably sell them triple their value since they're still sealed. Never got around to displaying them.

Sigui has arrived, I would recommend against anyone purchasing a 1/2.5 scale figure. When you stand before their glory your other figures feel diminished. You start secretly wishing all figures were made at this scale. I would commit crimes for a 1/2.5 Risty figure.

Thankfully I'm only a casual Iron Man fan so those aren't on my radar.

also to note, im speaking strictly from a japan to socal route. I ordered something once that was combined weight of 45lbs. Cost me 30 bucks to ship rofl. I think EMS was like 70+
