So, in today's pic, each box represented 10 mins. First 10 mins will be plain and go by fast, just like the normal crate w/ wheel; the next 10 will be cooler, and the last 10 will house a gigantic surprise. I've cracked the code!

i think i registered around the time i got my US copy of brawl early and made some shitty youtube videos that got pretty big of the character's voices (anybody remembers that?). It was discussed here heavily and i wanted to contribute so i registered and began lurking.

by the time i got in nobody played Brawl anymore. haha.

Heh been waiting for approval for a month now. Randomly hit reply to a message and finally got the screen showing it. You guys sure do run through threads like burning money. When I first made the account ya'll were only on post 900 something. XD
 
I don't even know how long I waited. I kind of forgot about GAF after registering and seeing I had to wait. Then months later I came back and I found I could post. Didn't even lurk apart from the initial glance before registering.

Same here. I registered during Brawl Hype (Jan or Feb), then they finally approved my account right after Brawl got released.

Aw, you got it! 30 minute direct it is!


EDIT: I have class from 6:00-8:00, and then have a meeting from 8:30-10:00. Should I just keep refreshing the smash page any time I can, or wait and watch the whole direct later?

I was thinking this also, the american stream is always ass, I either go to the U.K stream or hopefully like last time they have it also running on YouTube.

I have a feeling this direct will be identical from region to region, unlike most directs, so it probably won't matter. It'll probably have a bill trinen voiceover, like the developer direct.
 
The new sci-fi crates look so, so sweet. And very Portal-like, which is a good thing in my eyes. I hope we get a few more crate variants this time around - things like LCD creates for the inevitable Flat Zone or ? Block crates for Mario levels would be fun.

Also, it's interesting that all three Brawl crates are spawned in Skyworld, despite the crate designs being tied by stage in Brawl. Debug feature or something more...?
Probably debug feature.
 
It's a good thing my job always early departures if you've not had that many, otherwise I wouldn't be able to catch this when it airs with GAF.

Miiverse is flooded with Ridley talk. Ridley is undoubtedly the most talked about character in the US, for better or for worse. Man if he isn't in this game he will be in the next game along with a spin off of his own.
