I know what you mean. I think it might be the mouth or the eyepatch or maybe it's her forehead. Something is a bit off but I think she looks nice. One of the better looking ones I'd say.

I had the Mari in my basket yesterday for 7k but didn't go for it. I wanna find it cheaper but I'm not sure if that's possible.

Yeah, even the painted Plum Alisa isn't that great. I thought it would be amazing when I saw the unpainted sculpt. Glad I passed on Nana as well.

Though I have to admit Alphamax's God Eater 2 Alisa is cute in a naughty sort of way. Dem panties.
 
Everyone look at this Tomopop Sinful Suzi review. This is why Japanese figures have ruined me.... Those seams! That paint! AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

oh man, I can't wait until she's painted. I hope this series gets another season. Then we'd assuredly get figures of all the girls.
 
so I'm about to order something off Crunchyroll for the first time, but it's asking me to sign up. Does this mean I'll be subscribing to Crunchyroll? Not that I don't want to, but I'm already paying enough monthly bills.
 
I'm surprised about PLUM's Alisa. She looked much better uncolored. Also, she has some unflattering seam lines. I cancelled Alphamax's Alisa in anticipation of getting PLUM's, but maybe I should have waited.

I'm pretty sure it's the base that gets put down before the actual paint goes over it. All of the figures from this company have some of the base showing through.

I know, right? She doesn't look bad, but she doesn't look amazing either. I thought she would be an instant pre-order.

It's not. I bought their Atom Eve figure, and it's the same deal on the hair. Looks so bad. She also has seams.... Not quite as terrible as Suzi's, but still.

Well that's disheartening.
I suppose I'll keep this in mind in the event they reveal a figure that would pique my interest.

That's really nice looking figure, but the way her proportions and the shape of her face and eyes have been done, it doesn't look so much like Lum but some other character cosplaying as Lum.

That new Idolmaster figure a couple pages back is spectacularly sculpted. I can't wait to see the painted version.

Ranko-chan? Yeah, she looks great. But as we know too well, shit can fall apart in the painting stage. Even though I'm not into the series, I still might be tempted if she turns out well. That's some Max Factory-level detail on her dress, and those flowers...

Yeah, that one. Her counterpart looks pretty awesome painted too, though I like this one better b/c it's far less stripperiffic.

This one definitely has a gothic-lolita vibe to her. Which other one are you talking about? Was it the one that was sitting in the heart-shaped base?
 
Ya know, the Link Nendo coupled with the joy from getting my two new Monster Hunter Nendos makes me want Dark Souls Nendoroids. A lot.

The topic I saw earlier about a Kickstarted $300 mini 3D printer makes me want to just make them myself since I know they'll never be real otherwise.

It's a modern anime classic. Don't be disuaded because it's a magical girl series. Shit gets real pretty quick. Also, it's only a dozen episodes and a movie.

That looks really nice! I really liked this figure since I saw the sculpt for it. The mouth is a little iffy, but I could deal.

Except what in the fucking fuck is up with that price!?

Edit: Oh wow, I had no idea that it was "cast off" (given the clothed/unclothed difference, it's guaranteed to be a swappable torso). I'd rather have it be non-cast off and cheaper.

Double Edit: I hope this "1/7" scale isn't as tiny as their Meiko Shiraki Catsuit Ver figure. They did alright w/ both of their versions of Fiona, but Meiko is more like 1/8-1/9 scale.
 
She's 250mm, so a decent size. But yeah, she's pricey. I like her, but nowhere near enough to order her. She'd probably have to hit 40-50% off for me to consider her with my new standards.

New standards are great. I haven't pre-ordered anything in weeks. Except dat Alter Asuka. With so many figures hitting 10k even after discounts, I'm going to be buying far fewer of them now.
 
Elin was my last wishlist item. There's really nothing preowned I'm even actively searching for. At least nothing that's priced at what I'd be willing to pay.
