This would be bullshit, I would be so mad. There's just no way... right?

It's already a shame that FD is the only stage. One look at the competitive smash scene and it's easy to see that FD isn't the only stage played on.

Also, I am actually pretty hyped for Greninja. I didn't want him in, but since it's aleady happened. I am pretty damn crazy for Smash 4 now. PLUS! Charizard is alone! :D
 
So, I enjoyed everything I saw. Greninja's a little weird, but whatever I'm cool with it. Modes look fun, Songs are good, game looks great in motion, lots of awesome fan service, and what they're doing with final destination looks amazing.

I can't tell if the fact that he emphasized a wired connection is evidence that they're really taking it seriously now, or if he's recommending a solution for our eventual disappointment. That's pretty much my only concern. Looking forward to more characters and info on customization at E3.

Also, Sakurai is so adorable, I friggin love him. I'm gonna have to upgrade to an XL before this comes out. I wish the Wii U version was first, but whatever, still hype.
 
I'm really glad that the console Pokemon Stage isn't another Pokemon Stadium. Kinda odd that it's from X/Y and not one of the console spin-offs though.

i loved everything they showed. except for the release dates :P


they took everything i didn't like and made it better.
transforming was always a bad mechanic and I'm glad it's gone.
 
There was so many good little bits in the direct mixed with all the big news. Good thing I went in watching the direct with no hype.

Something that I need to personally say is that I'm glad my boy Knuckle Joe and Lyn are returning as Assist Trophies.

Particularly the latter, since I didn't have any hope that she would become playable and I was worried that they replace her with someone else.

Also no Isaac?

Hmmmmm.

I wonder why....
 
I can't wait for one of those big fancy compilation videos/posts to detail all the stuff I didn't notice or forgot about.

And, man, the more I reflect on it the more I'm sure Ridley's playable. Too much teasing at this point... too much teasing. #RidleyFaithful

Nothing Golden Sun related at all was in this direct, leads me to think he (or Matthew) will be playable in this which is why he wasn't shown. Would seem odd to cut out content from Golden Sun when you left in Saki from Sin & Punishment
 
My only question is.... are we going to be able the Final destination types of stages offline?
Because ughh! some friends would only play on that stage and it gets boring really fast.
 
Kinda gutted that Ivysaur's presumably not gonna return, because it's my favourite Pokemon. But, Eevee's my second favourite and that's a Pokeball Pokemon now, and Ivysaur wasn't really good anyway, so I'm fine with it.
The glory of Greninja means all is fine with me.
 
I'm so happy. I actually didn't get anything I really asked for, but everything that was shown was great. For Glory/For Fun mode is a little strange, and I'm not sure I like how they're handling online. But we'll see what happens.

Still waiting on Ike and Captain Falcon! No Falcon makes me kind of wonder if they're going to announce a new F-Zero game soon. Ike not showing up by now makes me think that Chrom is taking his place (when they announce a new Fire Emblem game)

Always expect the worst with online and Nintendo games. Always. Especially in regards to feature set and options.

That being said, it's better than nothing.

People who are saying Ridley in Pyrosphere is meta ridley. IS NOT.

Its not the wing, its clearly Ridley other m version's tail.

If you see the video, you can see his whole body pass and the screen is his last bit.

Not only he trolls ridley fans not having even the decency of showing the boss, saying ridley will never be playable and get done with it, but adds his worst version to the game. At least he did that with Waluigi, he's not in the game, he is an AT, here he is, you can now stop dreaming Waluigi fans.

Lots of interesting veteran character changes. ZSS is looking decent. Totally called Zelda's Phantom being her down-B and Sheik being back is awesome.

Final Destination looks raw. Straight up raw. FD mode for all stages is great to have and I feel like some of SmashGAF confirmed that way back at E3 last year.

The Original 8 have finally returned. We yarn for yoshi no more.

Whoever called Charizard by himself, kudos *tips hat*

Also Greninja as a newcomer is brilliant in itself. He really is the modern, popular, all powerful pokemon of this age like Charizard was (is?) when Pokemon first came out.

Ok, sorry, lots of text but hell I'm still HYPE.

also: Wii U version is a long ways away, but hey, at least we'll have the 3DS version before it and MK8 will personally take up a lot of my time. Waiting for that version won't be too bad.
