Oh no, don't misunderstand me. Pac-Man is definitely the most likely Bamco addition. I just hate him.

I want to add something in about roster count though. If the roster is the same between both platforms, and the 3DS version is launching in (to be generous) late summer, how exactly are they going to be handling these reveals? Assuming a hypothetical 20 more to go, the pace is more than one a week. This is somewhat doable if you reveal a few at say, E3, but after that there aren't any other big gaming events. Tokyo Game Show is in the Fall. Maybe, maybe, EVO will get a reveal. Even if you had bi-monthly Smash Directs that's only six until you hit August, which is the deadline for the roster

It's not totally outlandish as they can just quietly reveal veterans like Falco just as they've revealed Diddy Kong and King Dedede, without any huge event or anything.

It's not unthinkable that Pokémon could have eight reps:

- Pikachu
- Jigglypuff
- Squirtle
- Ivysaur
- Charizard
- Mewtwo
- Lucario
- Greninja

Reasons:

- Sakurai didn't specifically state that Squirtle and Ivysaur are gone.
- Squirtle and Ivysaur are unique and already designed.
- Pokémon is one of Nintendo's best-selling franchises and has 720+ characters -- might as well have eight reps.

There's no way Zelda and Pokemon get anymore reps. Mario has 5 reps and its Nintendo's biggest franchise, no other franchise is gonna surpass that. All that's left for character reveals for Zelda and Pokemon are Ganondorf and Jigglypuff.

They all look amazing in motion. Greninja is....I wanted Impa but this is probably the best alternative that could have happened. Can't wait to yell out random jitsu skills at my bro. AND I'll finally get to use a Shiny Greninja. I'm assuming that color scheme is in. lol.

I was under the impression she's against the wanton bloodshed, but I don't really know her deal. I just know she'd make a good Cammy to Putin's M. Bison in an eventual real-life Street Fighter, and/or a good Lt. Noin to Putin's Zechs in a real-life Gundam Wing.

No what's more likely is that we'll get reveals as we've seen and most of the characters we've seen up till now are starters and a few secret characters.

Once the 3DS comes out, it'll take a while to unlock a roster of 49 characters so I honestly think they will pump out Secret Character reveals and how to unlock them in the time remaining up till the Wii U release.

Everything else remains the same in terms of mechanics, stages, etc.

Seeing that the 3DS and Wii U play differently, I could also expect that we don't get anymore reveals at all bar maybe 2-3 newcomers. That way we can focus specifically on 3DS stages and mechanics and flesh those out until the 3DS releases.

After that you can work off the Wii U.

It appears to move. There's a bit in the trailer that's in the main hub of the Pokémon League
 
Gamexplain was talking about how the new master ball item is a guaranteed powerful pokemon attack but that's not necessarily true. You could wind up with a dud like Mew, Celebi, or Jirachi.

Updated my roster with the new updates. ZSS and Sheik were easy to slot in with the removal of Ridley and Tom Nook, but I still want to have Mewtwo so I'm going to have to redo the whole thing to fit him with the other Pokemon. Might do that on the weekend.
 
The new direct as awesome as it was has gotten me a tinnnnnnny bit worried about the balance again...Really hope he makes everyone as good as he can :(

by "a while" you mean "someone will unlock all characters within the first day and tell the internet how" right
 
So far, 2/3 "Zelda Trinity" characters have two character slots (Link with Toon Link, Zelda with Shiek.) Any chance they'll complete the set by adding Blue Pig Ganon?
 
You know, I'm taking a second look at ZSS and just... The boots are starting to look a bit gaudy now. They add a ridiculous amount of height on Samus, who is already pretty tall, and have that bright yellow glow on them. It just doesn't look good in the blue suit, you know? Maybe they should have went with the Hollywood approved blue and orange contrast.

Not that this will stop me from enjoying playing her.
