I'm being hopeful, but it's annoying that people worry about characters who have been with the franchise since game 1 and don't show any sign of concern or interest for Mr. G&W. He deserves more respect than this.

So...everyone has been talking about character slots. Anyone think there will be tons more characters than in previous iterations/ than expected? All these pokemon and the split characters becoming full characters makes me think we might be surprised.

You guys think the Chorus Men will replace G&W? There's already been a surprising amount of characters announced... 29, including previously-transforming separate characters. Compared to Brawl's 35 (I think?) with 16 of those characters being unlockable, we're looking at something like at least 24 unlockable characters
