=( 20k for a figure isn't that much
only cuz i bought gold saw

well technically if you bought u. madoka day one you paid over 20k lol.

22k is pretty cray-cray. I've stayed away from the BRS line not only because of the current market prices, but I would obviously need them all after buying the first one. So I'm just going to sit here and watch the same thing happen with you. ;)

Gold Saw is an awesome figure, though. Dead Master and Insane BRS are pretty ace, too.

im done. Gold saw, got the cannon (non animated ver), and dead master (non animated)

thats it!. BRS is like 7-8k at most. DM is like 6k.

Asmodeus is a recolor so I think the chances of her being delayed is fairly low, but Mammon is almost guaranteed to not come out on time.

In my heart I know this to be true...but still :'(

This year is terrible with the delays. Still heartbroken over Usagear.

So guys, this kinda counts as a figure >.>

My parents are moving so they refuse to keep it in the attic anymore. It's from my art school days.....

I don't have the slightest fucking clue where to put the damn thing and that's not even the last art piece I have to pick up :/ (its half the size of the sofa in volume.)

Kind of a dumb question. But I'm 15 min from Akihabara in Tokyo. Is there a specific shop people go to for figurines? Or do you just browse around the various side shops? Also is there any other good stores in other areas in Tokyo?

I'm not really looking for anything specific. I have a couple Persona figurines, and studio Ghibli ones too. So I'm probably just going to pick up anything that looks neat. I have $500 to blow and wanted to pick some stuff up.

Ugh, I think i'm going to give in, I need that Kongo. She's totally my type and god damn somethings wrong when I start thinking 11.9 k yen is a steal. Japan's winning the price hike battle, nouuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Mandarake is great. They sell 2nd hand stuff, so that's where you go to find used stuff. There's one in Akihabara, and several other locations throughout Tokyo and Japan.

Just walk around and look for figure shops. They are all over the place in Akiba. I can't even remember all of them. I just poke my head inside any place that looks like it might have figures and walk around. Sometimes you'll find great deals in random places, or notice a store you never saw before.

Sofmap and Yodobashi have figure sections inside them, both new and used at Sofmaps.

Another great place to look in general is Nakano Broadway. It's got a huge Mandarake there as well as a bunch of other otaku and figure stores. I got some amazing original Urusei Yatsura movie posters there.

I really don't get the hype for Kancolle's Kongou. A chick with the classic "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up" face with torn clothes and a broken ship attached to her back.

Shimakaze was a lot more interesting in terms of design.

so i might get a few kantai maybeee. Actually its a lot easier now since I already got most of my figures from favorite series (BRS, Hyakka, Panty and stocking, madoka, QB, steins gate, persona 4 and strike witches)

Hello friends! I think I need to have that Wind Waker Link nendoroid. Is there a best site to order one from? I'm in the US but have a PO box in Japan (through Tenso) to potentially save on shipping.

So the Link nendoroid tempted me a lot so I place an order for it through AmiAmi. My question is I saw the remark saying it is for sale in Japan only.

Ummm I guess they will ship it for international customers right? I ordered several stuff from AmiAmi before and so far no problem. Just curious on the remark. If all goes well it will be my first nendoroid!

I knew I shouldn't have read Kahotan's blog preview of Kongou.

http://mikatan.goodsmile.info/en/2014/04/10/18th-scale-kongo-half-damage-ver/

I didn't notice a lot of the intricacies of the sculpt, such as the damage on the battleship/turrets behind her, and the tear on her stockings. She's still crazy expensive, but the amount of attention/love that went into her [after reading the above post] almost makes the price seem worth it.

Almost.

I haven't pre-ordered yet, but she's definitely moved to the front of my "wish" list.

I read this part..
Just to let everyone know in advance… as much is it may look like certain parts of the outfit may ‘flip’ to show more, that’s not the case! However… the outfit itself is ALL sculpted down to the finest of details!
..and instantly realised what they meant : Kongou's base is clear plastic :lewd

You mean, camel-toe?

…! (`・ω・´)
So what you’re trying to say is…!

Forgive me Kongo…!

*Now checking areas not visible in photos*

+。:.゚ヽ(*´∀`)ノ゚.:。+゚

(・∀・) “Everyone else can take a nice close look once she arrives at your home!”

What do you think?
