Lol, this game. Watching ENB's latest video and he mentions there is an extremely rare event at the camp at the start of brightstone where sometimes a non-hostile pig will spawn and if you lead it all the way down to the bottom of the area it will dig up the pickaxe for you.

I can't beat the big dragon that drops the Giant's soul. You all know which fucker I'm talking about. Died no less than 50 times against him so far, fuck this game.

/rage
Easiest way:
First, don't wear anything except your main weapon and rings. He'll one shot you either way so you might as well be naked/light :p

Attack is back legs and sprint towards his tail as soon as you see him preparing to use his fire AoE. Rinse and repeat

How to be an asshole 101: Invade someone in Dragon Aerie. Don't face the host, go after all the eggs and destroy them. Even if you lose, you win. :)

I got a Demon's Great Hammer from one, which I assume is very rare. But with a Str requirement of 40, I don't think I will ever be able to use it. Has anyone tried it? Is it worth the stat investment?

What cool items have you guys and girls gotten?
It's very fun to use the demon great hammer nice big hammer I've got two of them. I've also got an old whip, a couple of titanite slabs and a dragon bone. Pretty productive of you ask me.

Indeed but you don't need that event, you can just do it with one of the hostile ones. That's how I got mine.

From what I understand, it's been proven that you don't need a nonhostile pig to do it. You can get any of the small pigs to follow you there to get the pickaxe. Here's a video of someone just getting a random pig to follow them in order to get the pickaxe.

I really fucking hate bone wheel skeletons. I really do. They do 50% damage to me, and I can;t kill them fast enough. I can't kill them, it's so annoying how fast and how hard it is to dodge.

Holy water use it. Or summon help then? At this point it's easier to make a list of things you don't get angry about :P.

Use the pillars to your advantage. I've done that boss fight at low levels quite a bit, and I've always just hugged the pillars to make them run into walls.

How am I angry? )= They're just annoying. I can all 3 lords, but, the wheels man, the wheels. All i can think about is those wheels. Gavlan is wheeling and dealing in heaven now.

If you keep the last
Skeleton Lord
alive until every other enemy is dead, taking out the bonewheels as they come out of the ground makes them pretty easy (from my experience).

Do you really want me to answer that?

They're a peaceful people you know...

If you
break I think it's 3 or more
then when you
cross the last bridge, a dragon will come and break it. You died.

Yep. Great way to mess with the host as well as assure they don't try to cross it to escape/lure you into a trap.

Had it done to me before once. Didn't expect it. lol

Greatsword in Iron Keep PVP is surprisingly effective. Half the time fights end with people flying off the bridge into the lava. It's quite amusing.

NG+, made it to Belfry Gargoyles...I died twice, and I'm sure I'd beat them fine if I tried again but I just realized I'm not having fun at the moment and therefore can't continue. Maybe I'll feel different tomorrow.

The gargoyles boss fight is a black hole from which fun cannot escape, and it only grows in power each time you try to beat it.

I beat the Gargoyles solo in NG+, and it was an exhilarating fight.

Be better.

I never said I have issues with the fight. I've done it solo on both NG+ and NG++ and didn't really have any issues with it, but I think it's still a terrible fight.

Truthfully I don't think I'd be having fun whether I beat them or not, since the sole reason I'm bothering with them in the first place is so I can properly deal with Lost Sinner. And I don't really feel like going through Sinner's Rise. Really it's just a matter of fatigue rearing its ugly head.

Does anyone know, regarding the miracles trophy and the like: do you need them all on one character or can you get the trophy if theyre spread out amongst seperate characters?

I didn't notice it when I was low level but there are a real issue with the scaling/damage system.
Now with my 20 str/30 dex I'm doing barely 120 damage to the final boss with a Zweihander+10 2H.
WTF? I was doing the same damage to this boss with a Raw Halberd+10 and barely 10 str/14 dex.

So has anyone gotten anything cool from trading with the crows? For my Petrified Something at the start of the game, I got Channeler's Trident, which has been great for when I'm being summoned for co-op. But for the one I found in a chest in
Earthen Peak
I got a Dragon Bone, which feels like a waste. Smooth and Silky Stones haven't really gotten me anything interesting, but I have had great luck with the smaller variety. I got a Demon's Great Hammer from one, which I assume is very rare. But with a Str requirement of 40, I don't think I will ever be able to use it. Has anyone tried it? Man I got slabs for daaaaays from those fuckers.

An elementaly imbued weapon with buffs will outdamage the same buffed +10 weapon (non imbued). And the elemental weapons get almost no benefit from 40str or 40 dex. The most efficient builds atm just need minimum requirements to weild a weapon.

Thanks for the advice but I've already done this. The closest I've got him down to was near 50% health. I just can't beat him, even with summoned players to help. I'm not giving up, but it's still frustrating lol.

That doesn't make sense.
From, fix your shit, please.

Getting summoned by the LGK and facing off against a solo player makes me feel like the biggest douche in the universe.

Rated PG-13

For faith builds out there, is it worth downgrading the requirements to use sunlight spear? I have considered dropping it down to about 50, but am concerned about how much damage is lost by using it at lower faith. I'm not sure where the soft cap is for faith, so if anyone's experimented with this please fill me in.

50 is more than enough. Sunlight Spear still does huge amounts of damage at 50 faith with a dragon charm (which is the only reason to get 50 faith anyway...:P).
