Best thing is resubing PS+ after getting that free PS+ after the hack attack and a couple of free PS+ months.
So many games i played... so many i didnt.
So I'm having an issue, and figured a thread about it might not be entirely worth it when we have an at least somewhat related thread like this one already made. Any time I try to download something off of the store or download an update or whatever, my download speeds are absolutely atrocious. Right now I'm downloading DCUO and it's saying it will take 17 hours to finish a 7GB download. My download speeds on my laptop are just fine, peaking around 2-3MB/s. Both PS4 and laptop are on Wifi using an Apple router that I have had zero issues with. XBO also downloads at relatively decent speeds, although still slower than my laptop.
Router is maybe 15 feet away, with nothing blocking a direct line from it to the PS4 (which shouldn't matter much any way in my tiny apartment). I tried a wired connection but it was just as bad, if not worse.
Any idea what could be wrong?

SOE is pretty much the rogue developer of Sony. They haven't delivered something worthwhile for the PS3 (sry DC Universe) and still aren't on time with their PS4 ports. I expect nothing from them.
After playing Payday: The Heist for the first time some weeks ago it hurts even more that they haven't kept their relationship with Overkill (now Starbreeze) for Payday 2. Another game which would have been great on a portable with nearly no shooters. Seeing that Payday 2 went on to being some kind of sleeping hit it even stings more.
Not to speak of a real portable MMO *dream*
Keep whining. The mobile port is shit even my 9 year old nephew noticed it. He won't touch the iOS version but loves my Vita version. Too bad I am not a rich uncle who can gift him a Vita. He is also hardcore into Minecraft, already knows about Starbound and was interested in Steamworld Dig, it would be perfect for him.

Hmmm..well, I can understand ypur feelings a little better. That is my greatest fear about my white Vta; that potential for horrid stains, lessening it's sleekness. I'm unfamiliar with this Shinkomi layer you speak of, is that like a screen protector? If there is a way to replace it, say do that too, but then that means spending more money. I love how the white version looks, enogh to make me drive quite a good distance away to buy one from craigslist once I got a little bit of disposable income a few months back.
What's more important though, which one do you like more? I seem to recall you having an interest on the new model, there are some killer color combinations, perhaps sell the one that has a scheme you like better in the new model? And if that is no longer being considered, it's your preference. Part of why I like the white better is that Ifeel that the screen is either sharper, brighter, or just more awespme with the white surroundings. Plus, I love having it in sleep mode in the dark, practically the entire face glows blue from the PS button. Some people hate that, but I love it. The PS button on the black unit is so subdued in comparison. Also, the black stick covers on the white vita looks awesooooomme

I honestly prefer Black devices more. The only reason I bought this White Vita was that it was on sale during Amazon Black Friday 2012. My only regret is that it is White but I have grown attached to it over time (all those gaming memories)
Hmm I'm kinda curious you said the white border makes the screen sharper/better. I always thought a black border makes the less screen less defined (and in a sense bigger). Which is why most screens and monitors come in black.

Yep. My 3DS XL is all white and my iPhone 5 is white too. Always better.
I'm like totally opposite! haha. Black Note3, Black/Blue 3DS XL (the blue is a bummer)... and the White Vita stands out.. sore.

Sadly yes, and the game is quite big too (about...2.7 GB's). I find the game good, as I enjoyed the original Epic Mickey and the Vita port of the sequel does run good
; it's native res, has more or less the visuals of the PS3 version, and the frame rate is much better than I though it was going to be. I got the game for 7.50 during the big January sale, but to be honest...its not worth the 30 bucks it costs on PSN. Granted, its a fun platformer, it has the classic Disney charm, the music is quite good and the Vita version fixes some of the original versions flaws (the AI now mapped to a button on the touch screen, the painting controlling a bit better, the rear touch pad rarely being used). However, the game is just a weak platformer; Mickey's movements feels really floaty, the aiming with the right stick for painting is stiff, the game does have frame rate drops and some flaws from the original game (the camera not being super polished, the mission structure being very irrating at times, the story while good not using it's full potential, the good/evil missions being unclear).
I like the game, as I'm a huge Disney fan and love platformers, but wait for a PSN sale or something; EM2 is not worth the purchase sadly

Yes and while the port is actually really really well done, the core game design sadly leaves so much to be desired.
I will go back and finish it one day when nothing else is coming out, but for now there are so many better designed games to play on Vita.

That made me want to get a Blue Vita, and get a custom skin for its readpad with Alisa's symbol. LOL.

I got fucked, I was planning on getting the discounted PS3 version for 7,99€(as long as it is crossbuy) but now I can't because they pulled the discounted one from the store, and the normal one is blocked because I used the discount code.
Maybe I'll finally call the PS customer service (they didn't send me the code for Ratchet Gladiator HD)
