She's not wearing Space Boots when in her Zero Suit, as you say in your spoiler tag. It makes sense she'd try to compensate for them with these heels. The heels allow her to jump and fall the same as she would in the Varia Suit.

He could have just as easily made them boots though. He chose to make them high heels which is very out of character for Samus, who hardly has a character to begin with outside hardcore bitch.

Granted we have no idea if Samus frolics over boys during her down time but when shit gets going Samus attaches her space balls and gets to work.

If FE is getting a boss it'll probably be the dragon from FE1 or the final boss of Awakening. What you're suggesting requires Sakurai and co to remember 1 specific battle from 1 of Ike's games and to decide to make a stage based upon radiant dawn and not a general fe or awakening stage. And it requires Ike to not already be playable which he may still come back.

I still feel like Fire Emblem can get 3 playable characters, especially after how big Awakening was. Take Marth and Ike from Brawl and tweak them then add Chrom to round things out

Chell's didn't look like high heals though, they looked like shock absorbers. I agree it's just the tiniest bit silly that Samus's rocket boots have to look like high heals, there's really no logical reason for it.

Especially because like others have said, I really like what Sakurai did with her moveset. ZSS actually looks pretty cool and fun to use now

Like some people have said before, an Adam AT that randomly unauthorizes actions (ie: jumping, specials, normal attacks, shielding/dodging) would be amazing.

Samus leaps high in the air and falls great distances. The heels appear to have spring-like or piston-like properties that can help her jump that high and cushion her falls like shock absorbers. They remind me of Chell's boots from Portal and Raiden's high heels from MGS4.

More importantly... until you've taken a high heel to the face, you don't realize how advantageous they are to fighting, if you can hack it.

Nothing about Samus says able to leap 30 feet in the air and fall 100s of feet without taking damage, either.

It should probably be noted that the Space Jump Boots only appear in the Metroid Prime games, and even in those games their explanation is that they use the jetpack on Samus' back to augment her jumps.
