Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 7: How Can My Smash Brother Be This Cut

So while you guys await the daily image (even though one image with information attached to it still kinda pales to ~120 images without context), here's something to argue about:

Well?
Who are the real monsters? Aren't we the ones who capture these creatures, force them to live in confined spaces, and brainwash then into attacking other creatures, all for our own profit?

The true original monster is E: the human race.

Honestly, people who post rants or whatevs on YouTube should really sit down and consider what they want to say first. They just whittle on about the same point over and over again as they try to think of the next thing to say.

Also there is something very off putting in someone saying that everyone should have the same opinion as him. No matter how valid your opinion is, you don't have the right to say that this is the opinion everyone else must have.

Also it's funny that in all that time they didn't actually come up with the sound logical argument for heels. When one jumps you launch off the balls of your feet. If one's feet were propelled at great speeds by a rocket you'd basically want to avoid your ankles having a discomforting jolt every time this happened so to avoid this you'd want your feet in a ready to jump position. Hence heels.

Which one of these popular game franchise has died in the past year?

Trick question! They were never popular. Hopefully someone gets this reference.

Regarding Peach's tennis racket, did that move use to do random damage/effects depending on the object she pulled out?
Yeah, each of Peach's three possible F-smashes (tennis racket, golf club, and frying pan) had different trajectories and damage attached to them. Most notably, the frying pan sent opponents high into the air.

So are there any random effects left in movesets? Everything seems to be pretty consistent now.
Villager's turnip down-air randomly chooses a number of turnips which affects damage and knockback, I believe. Plus there are a few more "random" moves that are likely still in - I would argue that Peach's f-smash is most likely still random, and her down-special will likely be the same as it always was. Luigi's forward-special has also been confirmed to be in, and it wouldn't be the same without it's awesome misfire.

While there seems to be some manner of cutting down on random elements in moves, it hardly seems like a roster-wide phenomenon to me. Which is fine, there's nothing wrong with having a carefully balanced degree of randomness.

original 151 and Ludicolo > the rest of Pokemon
Gen III and V both have way better Pokemon sets than Gen I ever had.

Samus confirmed for no ribs on her right side? Holy crap that looks painful.

Well Samus has been scrambled with Chozo DNA, Metroid DNA, and arguably every DNA stolen by every X parasite she ate (including Ridley's). I don't even think she's "human" anymore.

Main reason why I want Metroid 5, Samus is a walking bioweapon arsenal and an enemy of the "good" guys and the bad guys now.

Pretty good. The comic's good as well.

The Chorus Kids are going to seem even more out-of-place than anything else yet. Such generic characters. No redeeming features. Looks like something I would draw in kindergarden.

Instead of Chorus Kids, try Marshal. But your guess is as good as mine.

Smash Bros. manages to make Mr. Game & Watch not seem out of place - the Chorus Kids, Marshal, or any other Rhythm Heaven character will look fine.

If anything, the inherently simple Rhythm Heaven art style will make the character stand out and look unique among the cast, especially if we get more aesthetically-busy characters like Palutena and Chrom.

Well?

Correct answer is all of the above, in their own way

1. Bulbasaur is #001 in the Pokédex
2. Mew is said to be the ancestor of all Pokémon
3. Rhydon was the first Pokémon designed by Game Freak
4. Arceus is said to have created the universe.

When you scrap mythology, however, only Bulbasaur and Rhydon count :p

Just occurred to me, Kirby's Rosalina hat will probably give him a Luma since her neutral special is Luma Shot.

Likewise, I wonder if Kirby's Little Mac hat will give him a Power Meter to go with his Straight Lunge.

I really want to see Kirby's Greninja hat -- I'm guessing a blue skullcap with horns and the tongue-scarf.

Well?

All I know is Mew is out of the question. Arceus created it and being the first Pokemon trademarked does not make it the first Pokemon.

You mean they'll just give Kirby a Luma hat?

edit:
edit again: Joe's post is better for quoting

For Rosalina, it'll probably just make Kirby summon and then immediately shoot the Luma.

The 3DS version will have roughly the same types of Assist Trophies and Pokémon. Just roughly…

Looks like life's ruff for the 3DS version.
