Look, we all know the easiest way to fake an off screen image on the 3DS is to view it either in the browser or the photo viewer. That means the original faker would have an image they made in photoshop or whatever.

This "fake of a fake" fiasco is really confusing. I don't understand how it disproves the original (not that I had any stock in it, but still). Could someone help me out here?
Sakurai isn't even real, just a concept. There was never a Smash Bros game in the works.

I remember thinking Greninja was fake. Now he's in freaking Smash. And that was only like half a year ago.
I agree. I think they are the 'symbol' of smash brothers, with jigglypuff arguably being the weakest link, but I don't think any of the original 12 will ever part from smash bros ever. Redesigned, maybe, but cut, never.
Huge disappointment if any of them get cut.

Yup, one guy claimed he faked Greninja, Hawlucha and Binacle and went in depth what parts of other Pokemon he used and exactly how he "faked" them. Then they turned out to be real.
And Iwata is a substitute.

If the crops showed more, not less, that might have helped his case.
Edit: Also, I bet the ridley fanbase will still search for ridley in the game even after it's out and it's confirmed he's not in. Like how people tried to find sonic in melee.
After that direct and screenshot blowout, it's probably going to be nothing for a while. Luckily E3 is not far away.

hahah dude, we gotta play this weekend! Had some CRAZYYY team games the past few days that you need to get involved with.
NOTE: For anyone else that wants to play with us, let me know. I'll set you up nice and proper :] -- I'm actually making a thread for this and a general Smash Community thread I've been holding onto/working on for a while. It'll serve as a great reference for all Smash discussion that doesn't just pertain to Smash 4. For that thread though, I'll probably wait until a while after the game is released because this game will eventually receive a dedicated Smash 4 |OT|.
I mean, it's up to everyone if you guys want me to just post it soon so we can eliminate that problem of "I came to this thread to see daily pics and Smash 4 info., not talk about Pokemon and anime.." Whatever works. Doesn't seem to be an issue right now so that's why I figured I'd wait even though I reserved a spot in that |OT| thread for it. Maybe I'll just post the Smash 64 thread in the meantime or just combine the two? Open to suggestions..
