Rhythm Heaven is more a rhythm/timing game than a music game, if that makes any sense. A move set full of various instruments is better suited for a Band Brothers or Wii Music character.

I'm gonna bring him up again, but Captain Falcon was a racer, not a fighter before Smash. Within the F-Zeroverse is there any reason for him to have firey attacks? It makes sense what you're saying, but chorus men shouldn't be so initially limited as to singing, otherwise I would wonder what Sakurai would see in their potential inclusion

It's a bad comparison. Captain Falcon can't drive his car around, there's nothing stopping Chorus Men from singing. And we've been giving you good alternatives. There aren't a lot of musical instruments in Rhythm Heaven, it wouldn't be a good fit for the character.

Also despite being rivals Wolf wouldn't really care much about what Fox does unless they cross each other. Then he can be all tsundere.

Captain Falcon's a bounty hunter, so obviously he'd know how to fight. "Chorus" is right in Chorus Men's name, and by definition a chorus sings and doesn't play instruments. I'm not saying it's impossible that they'd use instruments, but it'd be incredibly out of character for them (and it also wouldn't have much to do with Rhythm Heaven as a series).

But to fight with such a firey display? That's an invention of Sakurai's. Turned out to be really popular as Captain's name is now synonymous with his punch. It would be weird for chorus men to be focused on instruments, you're right. I was merely thinking about it in a more general sense of musical.

That's ok though if nobody agreed =) I'm still really curious about them... Gotta wait and see if the leaker really knew what he was talking about or not

He fought with a fiery display because he's based on the old dragon fighter characters. And they'll probably sing.

Yeah, I love how it became so popular that they put it in the anime.
I want Platinum games to make a new F-Zero that is half racing, half character action game. They could alternate action levels with racing levels one after another, or maybe have a few action levels lead into the big races. It would be so good.

The Dragon King game that was in development? I didn't know there were videos or screenshots of any fighter using fire. All I've seen are the ones on the smash wiki
