Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 7: How Can My Smash Brother Be This Cut

omg, what the what what? What's happening? Did I miss something recently? The first pic with the blue shell looks all sorts of wrong (angle/crisp screenshot of a screen/lack of time in top right or lack of stock lives), but some of the later ones look... interesting.

Can anyone please not debunk this? It has our Supreme Jigglypuff.

Really, though, this is the only chance Sakurai's ever going to get to reveal Ice Climbers alongside an appropriate game release. Of course, that doesn't mean it has to happen; we got Marth out of nowhere, after all. The same could always happen with Ice Climbers... Or they could be saved for a Direct like Sheik, Yoshi, etc. But there's a very real possibility that Ice Climbers may be revealed tomorrow night.

I am pretty sure I recognize which screenshot Greninja is taken from there but I'll not post it to keep your dream alive!

That brawl shading though

Dragoon is ok, just needs to be tweaked a little.

For one, it needs to not auto target the other player in a 1v1 match.

And secondly the target should move around slower so it's easier to dodge.

As is it's pretty much a guaranteed kill. Though I guess there's nothing wrong with that when there's items like the golden hammer and smash balls, maybe dragoon parts should just be rarer.

Also, don't the pieces get knocked out of you when you die? So the reward for killing someone is another easy kill.

Mostly the thing I didn't like about it was that more than other items, it altered the whole match for a long time. With the golden hammer or pokeballs you just run away or dodge until the coast is clear. With the Dragoon, it affects the whole match even when it's not in play.

Did a bunch of people just get Photoshop? What's with the sudden increase in fake screenshots?

Same thing as with the Pokémon fakes that always occur. People work out the winning formula.

Photoshop, put it on a screen or print, take a horrible camera phone, take a blurred, angled, photo to hide imperfections. Profit.

I don't really like the Dragoon. Not because it is strong, but because the fight over it completely hijacks the match. As long as one piece is on the field, the others are very quick to follow, you can't get rid of them without collecting the whole set, and it is so powerful of an item that you can't ignore it.

On top of that, it feels like it shows up in every lengthy match. Smash Balls are enough of a distraction, and the Dragoon is ten-times worse (without the fun factor of character-unique Final Smashes).

Thankfully it is easy to turn off. There has only been a small number of items I have ever turned off in Melee and Brawl, and the Dragoon tops that list.
