Not all Greninjas have protean as an ability. If you picked Greninja as your starter, for example, it just has torrent.
I think you could, you just immediately throw them. I don't think you can choose the direction you throw them either.
So hidden ability is something that the pokemon can get if bred or caught under certain circumstances? I was totally wrong! I assumed it was like a second ability that just didn't show up when looking at your pokemon's info. Neat.

Yeah, the easiest way to get one is to go to the friend safari, where all caught Pokemon have an unusually high chance of having their hidden ability. Outside of that, the only way to get it is have a Pokemon with the hidden ability be a parent in the daycare.
Every current Pokemon is either resistant to or neutral to ice lol
Fire type tho.
Also if they defied my command and expanded the type system to all moves and characters the Ice Climbers would be worse than Ganondorf.

Haha. Type advantages should just stay far away from Smash Bros. for the sake of everyone's sanity - it was weird enough that they sort of kind of barely incorporated them for Pokemon Trainer.

It always pains me that my favorite Pokemon designs tend to generally be the worst when it comes to types/properties in general.
At least my main Mawile got a super good Gen 6 buff.
My favorite Pokemon is Chesnaught. I know that feel. I force him to be competitive though XD.

So, by following Nintendo's trend of broadcasting an international Nintendo Direct every two months, we should have one this week. Last Direct was on a Thursday, so if there is a Direct tomorrow it should be announced soon (in a few hours). Considering that the Challenger Approaching banners are gone since today, and that there's a Kojima announcement for tomorrow, we may be getting a Direct announcing Snake's return for tomorrow.

I'm not crazy am I? Scizor was bad in Adv and DP before Plat wasn't he? Bullet punch seems like it's what really makes him these days, along with U-turn.

Ice/Steel would have 4x weakness to fire AND fighting. Give it the ability Filter and it might be ok.

I know Ridley is popular. It's everything else you say that I disagree with. (K. Rool is the 2nd most requested character, the roster only promote Japanese characters, Sakurai needs to be replaced, etc.)
