Rise of Incarnates by Namco's Tekken/SoulCaliber/GundamEx staff [PC exclusive?]

For those saying Anarchy Reigns and Phantom Dust, its not. It's very gundamu vs.

That said, coming off EX VS/Next Plus, this looks hella slow. Like, Gundam vs Gundam PSP slow, but with dash canceling. I do not know how I feel about that, because GvG is brutally shitty compared to its sequels.

Haven't played Gundam VS yet, but the gameplay reminds me a lot of Gotcha Force (as does Gundam VS gameplay) which I loved.

Signed up for the Alpha, can't wait.

Okay yeah. This looks EXACTLY like phantom dust without deck building.

Suddenly interested after all these comparisons to Phantom Dust.

Welp

Gotcha Force was made by the original Gundam VS team in Capcom, then the leads left and formed Byking, which led Namco's Gundam EXVS team.

"Pace-wise", it reminds me more of Gunslinger Stratos. Which in itself is quite good.

But we'll see how the chips fall as the game comes closer to release.

Anarchy Reigns kinda played like shit to be honest so it's probably for the best. Don't know about Phantom Dust but if you like competitive moment to moment games you should definitely try EXVS

I really like the girl with revolvers out of the characters so far

Phantom Dust is probably as far from the Gundam Vs games as you can get while still being in roughly the same subgenre.

Actually, yeah GS is a much more apt comparison visually. Never played the game for obvious reasons.

GvG pace wise isn't slow necessarily, but decent movement options (RE: Dash canceling) are non-existent. Having your attacks interrupted in that game was a constant occurrence.
Next Dash was a massive upgrade for the combat. God Gundam went from horribly underpowered punching bag dogshit in vanilla to playable in Next thanks to that addition.

We've been developing this game for some years now and we've done a lot of market research as well. Some of the gameplay mechanics we found were still viable to western audiences, we kept and refined, but a lot of times we discarded them for something completely new. A large portion of the game is quite different from Gundam,

Gimme the alpha already so we know what those changes are! Markman pls :O

This game has a lot of potential play-wise, but I'm going to need some more interesting looking characters. Also, do they really think they can see a profit just based off costumes?

Don't underestimate people's desire to dress up their waifus. Also, I'm still imagining that you'll be able to pay to unlock characters with the option of unlocking them through gameplay for free.

"Can't wait, got my mad world and anarchy reigns soundtracks prepped for this."

I wouldn't be too excited if you're expecting an Anarchy Reigns or Mad World style game.

Why? open area beat em up, like gundamn extreme vs. unless I missed something crucial from the trailer.

Well yeah, but Mad World and Anarchy Reigns are pretty different from Gundam Vs.

Dat bump.

I guess they'll be sending out codes to people within the next 3 days or so. I signed up on the website a couple weeks ago, haven't got anything yet.

After seeing this topic in the first page, I inmediately went to check my email and apparently I had just gotten it.

*sigh* I'm gonna be gone all weekend though so I won't really get a chance to play this much if at all =.=

Got my key. Google kinda pseudo-junk-mailed it(put it in the Promotions folder), so if you have those divisions on Gmail make sure to look there
