Winged pink pikmin rescue him. The more pikmin he's holding (up to 3), the heavier he is, so his recovery gets gimped.

edit: Beaten like a baby bulborb underneath a purple pikmin.

i was unstoppable with olimar with my group of friends. It was at a point where i had to mix it up during our brawl sessions and choose different characters so they would not get too frustrated lol.

i'll be sure to watch the direct. i hope they didn't change his move set too much. i loved olimar's ground game and i also liked how floaty he was because it helped with evasiveness. Really his only weakness was his recovery not that it mattered haha.

The Direct shows Olimar throwing away all his pikmin before calling in the winged pikmin. This strategically gives him more recovery because the winged pikmin carry him far.

Going from 6 to 3 pikmin available at a single time will really hurt Olimar's spam potential. But the recovery is a huge boost. I like the character too because I'm a huge pikmin fan. So we'll have to see!

k rool is just based on how much I seen him requested which ik is not proof, Not only just majority, and if there not in this game they wont be in if sakurai the director.

Ironically when Little Mac was anounced as a playable character Japanese smash players accused Sakurai of catering too much to the west. Anyway ignoring K. Rool has nothing to do with ignoring the west since even western developers have been shunning him. Also the character is just baaaaad anyway.
