How do people still not realize all these are poverty problems and not black problems? The reason things are like this is because it's never ben harder to be poor in the US, except maybe during the 1900s before the US government regulated factories.

We can't get rid of negro because too many people call themselves negros. I worked the 2010 census operation, and the forms had many terms for many races and ethnicities. We wrote down the answers the residents gave us, and if they said "yes I consider myself to be negro" "I'm not an African American, I'm negro" "yes, negro/black" or "yes I'm a negro", we checked the appropriate box. If people still use certain terms to refer to themselves, who has a right to get rid of the terminology? Isn't that itself a little bit of bigotry, control, and erasure? I don't like the term myself, I much dislike a lot of racial terms to be honest, but if I am not part of the group, who the fuck am I to judge?
 
As someone who grew up in South Carolina and as someone who's grandparents showed him how to pick cotton. To the poster earlier; yes you have to learn how to pick cotton more importantly separate the cotton seeds from the "production" cotton itself.

Bundy's comments make me sick on a personal level.

My grandad said they were pushed to pick what felt like a ton of cotton a day. No shade 15-20 minutes for lunch and your back is hunched over for close to 10 hours a day.......

Yes picking cotton is a much better situation for us.

A few things. First, to take the quote at face value it’s odd and sounds offensive. You’re talking about government overreach and you go into this story? Secondly, I hope no one is surprised that an old man rancher isn’t media trained to express himself perfectly. He seems to be decrying what big government has done to the black family — which big government has negatively affected not just the black family, but all families regardless of ethnicity — so perhaps he included that in his remarks against big government?

Thanks for the reply. I think that Bundy should grow cotton on 'his field' and see how many Black people volunteer to work on it for room & board with the occasional beating.
 
Is this the guy that used Government land as his own personal grazing field and is refusing to pay them back for it? Who's taking a handout from the government again?
 
The good thing about a party backed by a shitload of racist is that some fellow politician can quickly lend you a " Im not racist, for reals" press release.
 
We should take some of his kids to the cotton field, prove their worth as Americans. If they can do it 6-7 days a week, 12 hour work days for about 200+ years, then we should have no right to complain or criticize.
 
This guy been illegally profiting off the government (i.e taxpayers) for 20 years, and he has the nerve to complain about others being on welfare?! And now that the bill is is due he whines like a child.

Do these people ever take a step back and think about what they're saying and what their situation is?

This is what many poor whites do. It's no coincidence that after I see a poor white conservative rant about welfare he then walks back to his truck with a disability card sticking from its ceiling.

Because it's an odd hope. There are things that my parents said that I'll never share with my children, and it's specifically because I want those things to die off. If my children don't see it, then there's a better chance that they won't be infected by it.

That said, I know a guy that was raised by NYC liberals and turned out to be a Tea Party advocate. We all want racism dead, but it's not about generations dying off...it's about exposure and education (IMO).
 
All of these people are traitors to the United States. Over the course of the next few months, they should be quietly arrested, tried, and imprisoned.

The federal government should not tolerate this bullshit. They should be treated no differently from suspected Islamic terrorists.
