I dunno exactly what could replace it but they've always been depicted as a healing item. That's pretty much all they do. I know Smash isn't always accurate but it seems a bit far fetched.
Maybe a Teleportation Pad? You grab and throw it on the ground, where a Megaman character teleports in? It's not as iconic but it's a little more accurate.
EDIT: Agh, Resistance Base is a location. Ugh.
A teleportation pad would work best I guess.

I did thought of him but I couldn't see it work as well. Since he would be more likely to be assist trophy that came out to give the items.
Regard with Teleportation Pad, that's not bad suggestion. It would work too, but problem is that Special Flag isn't accurately match to it's purpose but at same time Special Flag is fan service item that have been appeared over many games.

I thought Golden Sun was pretty boring outside of reading NPC minds, which is fun and amusing, and the dungeon puzzles. The characters are all pretty flat, and there isn't much of a story present. The combat is easily cheesed and you just spam Djinn to end most fights. I haven't worked up the interest to play through The Lost Age.
I think the best GBA RPG is Yggdra Union. The gameplay is fresh and interesting, the plot has some nice little twists, and it is probably the hardest RPG I have ever played (there's no healing!). I swore a ton while playing that game.

I always thought that was a missed opportunity to have Lon'qu support with Say'ri and overall have more relevance to Yen'fay/Walhart. I agree though, all of the Chon'sin characters have a great design.

I want the Wii U to have a Pokemon stage from Red/Blue full of remixes from gen 1 to get me all nostalgic.
If Mewtwo isn't playable make it Cerulean Cave and have him as a stage hazard.

That is because the poses aren't random, they are all based on the basic shooting posture of the various Mega Man characters. Though Mega Man Volnutt's stance is a bit of an exception. I don't recall him having a shooting stance specifically like that. It actually looks more like his stance when shooting his heavier weapons, like the Powered Buster (which is essentially a big cannon), but it has been a long while since I played the Legends games.
Considering the shot colors all of the Mega Man leads are also based on the original games, that one image is loaded with some incredible attention to detail. The only thing that looks a little off is that lack of a pupil in Omega-Xis' visible eye.

I was thinking about that as well. The Cerulean Cave works since it both appeals to nostalgia, remains current (since an Unknown Dungeon is in XY as well), and gives Mewtwo a home stage
for when he's eventually confirmed as playable
The cave as a stage on Wii U, Saffron City as a stage on 3DS, and Mewtwo as a playable character; it's all I'm asking for at this point concerning Pokemon representation.

Air Shooter (Mega Man's Up Air)
I found this to be interesting cause it is a first for Smash in a sense. Previous Smash games didn't have characters have projectiles/long-range air attacks.
It seems when it initially comes out of the mega buster it will cause some knockback and then it becomes a multi-hit move with no flinching. It seems like the multi-hit part of the move has the ability to move characters up higher, but it may be exaggerated since Kirby is jumping as well.
Could be an interesting move for off-screen KOs, but outside of that, I imagine it won't be that useful considering people would be able to easily DI out of it.

Though I wonder how it works. Is it like Captain Falcon's where he gets people on to a race track and then runs people over or if it just has a small cinematic and shows the lasers coming out on stage.

Well technically Mega Man and X are only lefties when they are facing right. They switch buster arm when facing left. Also, what isn't pictured is that Volnutt usually has some other large weapon attacked to his other hand. It also raises the question whether having your left hand turn into a gun actually makes you left-handed, since then you need to do everything else with your right hand (not than any of the Mega Men have to worry about that other than Geo Stellar or Mega Man Volnutt).

Seeing X in Mega Man's final smash gives me hope that we'll actually get some music from the X series. My guess is Central Highway. I would love to see a full Central Highway stage, though:

I would love ridley to be playable, but I still think it's pretty clear that he's just a stage boss.

That certainly is interesting. I still think it's a stretch but if Ridley, by some miracle, does make it in, making him only slightly bigger than Bowser can probably work.
