I'd be okay with a Wonder-Red assist trophy, but only if it shows up soon so that I stop pondering W101 character or stage representation for these installments.

At this point all I want is Ike's return, Chrom, and a Lucina alt costume for Marth.
One is likely, one is possible, and one I'm not holding my breath. Everything else will just be a nice surprise.

1. Music Madness from DKC Returns, with platforms that move to the beat of the music.
2. Phendrana Drifts from Metroid Prime, or Skytown from MP3. Or maybe Phaaze. Just something from the Metroid Prime games, please.
3. A Game & Watch stage that's actually fun and not painfully tiny.
4. A Kirby's Epic Yarn level.
5. A second level from Kid Icarus Uprising. Anything, really. Lightning Battle, Space Pirate Ship, Aurum ship, Pandora's labyrinth... plenty of stuff to choose from.
This explains why he was my main and why I got into his series.

F-zero GX's version of Mute City reaaaaallllllly needs to be a stage.

Kirby was insanely powerful. You could basically chain his smash attacks on an undamaged opponent up to probably around 50-70% before they could really do anything. That, plus his Up-B move which once you had a handle of using it as an edge-guard was an instant meteor-KO death since air dodging wasn't in that game.

Top five stages
1. One of the better Metroid Prime areas; Sanctuary Fortress is ideal, but I also love Skytown, Bryyo, and Phendrana.
2. One of the silhouette areas from Donkey Kong Country. I love the visual style and it'd be great seeing the Smash characters that way.
3. Chapter 3 from F-Zero GX. Love the casino theme and the ramps.
4. Monster Hunter stage with a rotating boss; Rathalos, Tigrex, Nargacuga, Zinogre, and Brachydios all seem like good choices. Could even have the stage aesthetic rotate too from forest to desert to volcano to tundra and back again.
5. Metal Mario's stage from Smash 64

Notice that one of them is mewtwo.
That means pokemon company still values mewtwo as a current popular pokemon.
We haven't seen mewtwo in a pokeball or in any other footage.
I'd say this increases mewtwo's chances by 5%!

1. Mars Lighthouse from Golden Sun: The Lost Age.

No way! I love the Colosso Tournament, but I think it would end up looking fairly generic and similar to the Fire Emblem stage Arena Ferox.
Lighthouses ARE Golden Sun. Mars Lighthouse is where the plot of the series reaches its climax. I don't think it's even a choice tbh. If there's going to be a GS stage, it should be a Lighthouse.

Give me the bar from the Chapter 3 cutscene, a bar room brawl with F-Zero racers looking on and potentially getting involved in the ruckus while the cheesy "F-Zeeeero" song blares out of the speakers. It'd be a change from the expected F-Zero stage type at any rate.
Plus Mighty Gazelle and Octoman could be in the background which would make me happy.
This is such a fucking great idea I wish I thought of it first.
Would you accept Sanctuary Fortress instead?

Yeah, a lighthouse would be bestThey should be fighting atop the Lighthouse as they do in the games.
Giant orb in the background, and when the Lighthouse is 'lit' a giant beam of energy bursts out and splits the stage in half for a while.

Sanctuary Fortress absolutely needs to be in.
I'd love to see a Tropical Freeze stage. Busted Bayou or Cliffside Slide would work as a silhouette stage, and the frozen volcano would be a neat regular stage.

0_0 ... That would be amazing. Only issue I could see is the lack of gaps, which I'm noticing is a funny quirk in lots of the stages this time around like Wii Fit Studio, Living Room, the Boxing Rings, and Mario Galaxy

oh jeebus...and a Bayo AT would be ok I guess. I'd rather have her playable.
I really don't want her playable, at least not in smash bros. I love her, I love her games, but I think she's even worse of a fit than snake was (thematically). That and then I couldn't let my kids play smash, which would be a huge bummer.
Snake outside of his games really doesn't do anything M rated, at least not in smash. Practically all of bayo's moves have her stripping down a bit or posing provocatively. ZSS is pushing it, I suppose, but at least she doesn't come from an M rated series.

I don't see this mentioned very often, but I'd really like to see at least one of the Koopalings make it in. I'm sure Sakurai could even pull a Wii Fit Trainer(s) with them and have one character slot with seven different alternate costumes.
I feel like they all have so much personality and their inclusion in NSMB:U and MK8 lifts their possibility of inclusion at least marginally. Going the alternate costume route would also appease a lot of people with considerably less effort than devising seven move sets.
Oh, and I just noticed I didn't list my five most hoped for newcomers. I guess that ship has sailed, but I'll toss mine in anyway:
1) King K. Rool
2) Koopalings (any will do, but if I had to pick one... Ludwig)
3) Knuckles
4) Any Paper Mario rep. But I'd prefer that it not be Paper Mario himself... it feels too much like Link/Toon Link

I also really hope they include a stage or at least some music from SM3DW. Maybe a champion's road stage with blocks that pop in and out with the timing of the music.

They're different sizes, have different abilities, and have completely different personalities (which would be reflected through taunts, et cetera). That wouldn't work.

1) Robin - I just love the idea of him on the battlefield. Sword-wielder but with magical B moves... a super unique Fire Emblem addition. Seems unlikely at this point though.
2) Dixie Kong - Best possible DK rep? Best possible DK rep.
3) Mii - So much potential here! Find Mii alone would give you a ton of potential, toss in all of the Wii series stuff and you have an awesome character. Hopefully they don't go with the "custom moveset" idea here, bleck.
4) Mona - I'd love another character with Wario's spastic style and she'd be an interesting addition. Hopefully the Chorus Men have the same feel if that leak pans out.
5) Ridley - Any new Metroid character really.

I'd love Sanctuary Fortress though I'm not sure which area would be best suited for a stage, you could make the entryway bridge a spinoff on the Bridge of Eldin stage concept but I guess that's kind of bland.
I think Elysia/Skytown would lend itself more to a Smash stage, more open to interpretation, moving platforms, the ziplines and Space Pirate ships for example. In any case Smash needs more Prime locations and ones that take advantage of its excellent scenery which Brawl's Frigate Orpheon did not.
I wouldn't want to have the DK stage tied to the silhouette gimmick myself, it could become confusing factoring in items and such unless they weren't affected by the visuals in which case you'd end up with a visual clash that kind of dilutes the appeal as well as needing to make each SSB character have that one defining visual trait to make them stand out. Plus I find the backgrounds and visual style of Returns and Tropical Freeze stand out enough on their own.
Assuming we can get away from the Jungle for a change Return's Factory would do well to represent another recurring series setting that also pays slight homage to the arcade days with its emphasis on the red girders.
Tropical Freeze has a ton of choice here, I'd be inclined to go with Scorch N' Torch with fire hazards, tree platforms that burn up over time and the screaming totems that could all play a part.
But since we'll probably just get more jungle stages I'll at least hope for the Aqueduct/Ruins areas or Frozen DK Jungle, anything but another vaguely DK themed jungle.

Man I hope so! He has so much potential moveset wise and really deserves a spot.
Definitely, but Phenandra Drifts would still be my number one choice. I adore that area. It's so beautiful, and the music when you enter for the first time...so good!

Rayman is the only thing I want in smash bros less than pac man.
I would honestly reconsider buying the game if rayman is in, that's how much I dislike him (and ubisoft). I don't want any Ubi/EA/Activision IP in my smash bros, please.
Manaphy is the reason I want an 'item switch' but for pokemon and assist trophies. How great would a 'manaphy only' battle be?

There have been rumors, that I trust, that Ubisoft asked for Rayman to be in but Sakurai didn't feel for any number of reasons that it would be a good fit.
Bowser's Castle is one of my favorite places in all of videogames. They tend to be my favorite stages in 2D and 3D Mario games, and my favorite tracks in Mario Kart. I'd love to have a Bowser's Castle stage in Smash Bros. Fill it up with Thwomps, Thwimps, Firebars, Podoboos and Dry Bones, and let us have at it. And make "Koopa Road" one of the themes, too!

I remember a leak that was later proved false saying Guar Plains was a stage and that in the single player mode, which was going to be like Melee's adventure mode, would have Metal Face as a boss. With what we know of Bosses on stages now, I'd live to see this for real.
Other stage wishes aren't really anything in particular. Paper Mario stage, Nintendoland stage, Lanaryu/Pirate Ship from Skyward Sword, classic Smash 64 stages redone in HD, another Kid Icarus stage, some of the other stage ideas in this thread. Those would be nice. But I'm REALLY clamoring for a Xenoblade stage.

Swaps control of your character with your opponents for two characters on the field. Effect lasts for a few seconds.
Also, Deoxys was way more rare for me personally.
