I'm still waiting for that "series" of DCU-based films that was alluded to in the recent NYT Kevin Tsujihara profile, but I suppose it's fair to give them until SDCC for that.

Also, had to LOL at this quote:
Assuming WSJ is correct about JL not coming before 2018: three films in six years (2013-2018) is "quickly catching up" with Marvel Studios? Maybe there could be another film in 2017, we'll see.
That would probably be the screenplay for Alien Resurrection
Nah, it probably won't.
But every now and again, a man gotta have a relatively minor thing to zero in on and inflate to disproportionate levels.![]()
Are they really not going to have Oliver Queen from Arrow in this? Lamesauce
There was a rumor going around the Arrow thread that WB is waiting to see the reaction to The Flash spinoff before they make a decision.

Flash runs really fastNot really. While certainly Batman and Superman are two of the most well known of all superheroes to the public at large, the rest of the crew, certainly not as much.
I agree with that. I really like Arrow and wouldn't mind him crossing off into the movies. Don't know if he should have his own solo movies but wouldn't mind seeing him in a team up movie.
It all depends on if the Flash show is successful. if people really like it and the guy playing him then WB should use them in the movies.
According to Deadline the Flash pilot has been getting "rave reviews."
I have no faith at all WB can pull this off without it becoming a hot mess.
According to a insider that has a good track record with comic book movies says JL is coming out May 5, 2017.

Take it with a grain of salt, of course.

Hopefully the general public likes it. The guy playing him is like 22 or something. He would stand out against the rest of the cast that will be in their 30s by the time the movies come out.
This is how I feel too and damn 2018. They will be so far behind Marvel the superhero thing might be played out by then.
Flash runs really fast
Wonder Woman spins around and has a lasso of truth/bdsm
Green Lanten was in that shitty movie
Aqua man is lame and talks to fish
Green Arrow is a hunk who shoots arrows
There, I think we got all the public perceptions of those superheroes.
I'm so damn sick of hearing the numerous posts about how bad this movie and all movies after will be in every DC/WB thread. Can all you people just stay out instead of typing how much of a mess you think they will be. We get it. You hate Snyder. You hated MoS. You hate everything associated with these films. Point taken.
I lol'd.

Haha, wow. MoS -> BvS -> Justice League?
Sounds like a disaster.
it works in circles. there is always a large outpouring of hate in comic movie threads. asm2 is the latest case
Playing tit-for-tat with Marvel and DC is a fanboy slap fight that's raged for decades and, much like the characters both companies are known for, will likely outlive us all.these threads really are a chore to read, aren't people tired of the constant back and forth over Marvel does this, DC does that and the constant assumption that the movies will be shit when not a single person has set foot in front of a camera?
Darkseid!I'm just trying to figure out what could possibly threaten Earth that Superman would need the help of the Justice League to fight off. I mean the dude singlehandedly fought off an alien invasion. They might have made him a bit too powerful.
Why? So many people say this and never give reason for it. Or if they do it's "because that's not how Marvel did it."
Please, not Snyder. What makes the MCU films so great is how fun they are. MoS (and all of Snyder's films) take themselves far too seriously for their source material.
I thought Man of Steel was easily the most fun Superman movie. Just because it has a grittier color palette and aesthetic doesn't make it boring. Last I recall, the last half hour or so was nothing but action. It's a pretty fun flick.
Will Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy be in this one?
I wonder how much of this film will be devoted to sucking Batman's dick.
