US PSN: Golden Week Sale Celebrates Japanese Games

Yes. In the back of my mind I'm trying to remember if it was 5 before but I can't recall.
Thanks. I had Tactics Ogre as a filler item to raise it for free shipping from Amazon. Ended up canceling that item a few days ago.
Lo and behold, it goes on sale!
I spent more than I thought. Damn co-workers convinced me to get MGS HD for PS3 just for PeaceWalker.

Bought:
Muramasa Rebirth
Tales of Symphonia Chronicles
Vagrant Story
Tactics Ogre: LUCT
MGS HD Collection PS3
Chrono Trigger
Chrono Cross

Sony is killing my 64g card...and wallet.
So many great sales, and glitches this month.
Can't wait to replay Tactics Ogre on my Vita, now need to boot up my PSP to get my 150hrs save file.

Quick verdict:

MGR PS3 version, yea or nay? I'm not familiar with the differences between the PS3, 360, and PC versions of this game.

If your PC is capable, that's the best version by a long shot.

Damage for me:

Muramasa
DBZ vita
MGS vita collection

Tactics Ogre: LUCT isn't showing up as on sale for me?

Thanks for the quick answers guys.

Last question:
Did they ever patch in JP voice track to Atelier Ayesha? I remember this one originally shipping with EN voices only.

total damage:
mgs hd for vita: $9
tactics ogre: $10
+ vagrant story $3
----------------------------
$22

Not bad. I was going to get persona 4 also, but I had to resist because I wouldn't even play it with the above games + my huge steam-like backlog for vita/ps3.

No. People hope it'll show up for Ayesha Vita if we see it, but the most we could've even had was a free DLC. Though why that wasn't done... I wonder if they screwed up the contracts or something.

Action RPG-ish thing with Fallout 3/NV's VATS system. It's kind of unique, but fundamentally it's a dungeon crawler with real time movement and a VATS-like targeting system if you played Fallout 3 or New Vegas. If you haven't, time will stop for an attack as you select what body part to target.

Tell me, does it have a wide selection of weapons and armor to collect and use?

Please, tell me more. This may have been the game I've been waiting for but never knew about.

I got MGS:HD for Vita and Armored Cor V. Always have had a mech itch and this game might just give me a scratch.

Wow, Ys is pretty fantastic so far. And I'm kinda interested in trying out the other games now, are there any I should look for specifically or are they all generally good? Saw a few on Steam that looked cool.

Play Time and Eternity first and tell us what you think of it!
See, I find terrible games sort of enjoyable in a weird way, so I had fun playing through some of it like I had fun with the terrible, broken levels in Sonic 06.

Just get P4G.

Do it, you won't regret it.

Thinking of getting MGS HD and Tales of Symphonia from this, and this will reduce my wallet to 33.1 bucks, give or take.

Yes, I have bought Persona 4 Golden full price.
Yes, I also have bought Muramasa Rebirth Vita full price.

Gahhhhh.

What else, what else.

The simple answer to this is buying Persona 4 Golden and playing IT first. You should really do that. For real.

Loads of weapons, and a full on crafting system where you can dismantle weapons and fuse them together, and build up their effectiveness against certain types of monsters based on continued use.

That MIGHT get a little annoying as it encourages carrying around a wide variety of weapons and actively using them properly or else they'll be nearly impotent against everything, but if you're willing to put forth the effort it's great.

Fucking sold

Both story sides are the same in Muramasa, right? I only did one the male's side and never had a chance to play the female's.

Also: Battle of Z - Yay or nay?

Hello all, quick question. I have 20$ do you recommend just getting Ys, or a combo of Metal gear solid collection vita and tactics ogre or muramasa and tactics ogre??
Thanks for any response!

If anyone's on the fence about Hot Shots Golf, get it.

I've got about 3 hours in... it seems to do everything right. No regrets here, especially for that price.

Still trying to decide between to totori, meruru, and Ys. I just don't know.

I've always wanted to try the Atelier games but Ys also looks good. Are the atelier PSV games digital only?

Wish I hadn't bought MGS3 at full price on Vita a few weeks ago, but oh well.

Ys if you favor action stuff. It looks butt ugly though, hahaha.

Yeah, atelier vita are digital only.

Bought Tales of Symphonia HD and Vagrant Story.

Contemplating on whether I should get the following:

- Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational (I have it on Vita but I love the Hot Shots series)
- Devil May Cry HD Collection
- Zone of the Enders HD Collection
- Muramasa Rebirth (although I'm holding back because maybe it could be a "free" game in the near future)
- Ys Memories of Celceta (I want the Silver Anniversary Edition but $19.59 does sound like too good a deal to pass up).
- Armored Core: Verdict Day (is this any good?)

Is Chrono Cross worth? Don't really mind if it's different from Chrono Trigger, I'm talking more about gameplay, story, characters, etc.

The side characters are a joke since there are so many of them, but the main ones are good, and the gameplay features a unique, color-based turn-based battle system and a suikoden-like character recruitment system.

Oh, and many regards Chrono Cross as the undisputed king of video game OST, and for good reason. The soundtrack of the game is unblemished perfection.
