Usually when you put the title Project in front of something it means that it isn't going to be ready for a while.

Dark Souls was announced as Project Dark about a year before it launched.

Based on some of the stuff (the mention of a large Mind Flayer), I think this takes place in Boletaria, but do the presence of a possible gun, no doubt some time has passed.

Mindflayers were in Latria though. Remember, DeS's world is not interconnect but from 5 different lands. Boletaria is just world 1.

personally I find the souls series to be pretty shit. I'm not interested in this type of game.I'd take a next gen armoured core or Ninja blade over it any day.

I think DeS got a bit downgraded from its reveal. Hopefully we don't have to go through a downgrade thread again though.

The brick work alone is beyond that of vita and PS3 based on the recent dark souls downgrade. That's clear even from the low quality of the screenshots.

Souls series should continue but lets visit new worlds with new lore.

For all intents and purposes, Dark Souls 2 was a new world and lore. There are some tiny threads connecting it to Dark 1, but I feel it's mostly fan service that really isn't relevant to anything.

God I hope Sony ninja's help FROM with graphics/performance and make it look like a true PS4 exclusive. If IF:SS being an open world game can look that amazing, FROM better step up their game and deliver in terms of visuals. The Soul games have great art, but lack technically. That was posted in June 2013. It clearly meant TGS 2013. It's safe to say that the reveal got pushed not to coincide with Dark Souls 2.

No that was posted in June 2013, it was also stated around that time that some big reveals were pushed from TGS and Gamescom so its likely this is an E3 reveal.
