Nobody has posted this, but Phil has stated they have some unannounced studios that are working on X1 games(Hopefully a studio in Japan)

Edit-Whoa when did I become a member sweet!

LORD JESUS YES PLEASE!!!!

I don't know, but I am hungry for MS and Sony to blow us all away. Even if it's just great gameplay of games we already know about.

It's unlikely, but I've got the feeling Twisted Pixel's new game will be an AAA game. The concept art they included in Lococycle doesn't strike me as belonging to a downloadable $20/15 title, which it probably is anyway.
twisted_pixel_teaser.png

I wouldnt necessarily take that from a single concept art image... but its certainly different to what theyve done before, i'll give it that. Also, I dont think they're big enough to do AAA.

Well its pretty obvious which third parties will be there. EA, Konami , CDPR and Call Of Duty (not Activision) all seem to be more likely to show up at the Microsoft conference. Ubisoft, Activision, Zenimax, Take Two and Warner all seem more likely to show up at the Sony event. I do not expect any outright or timed major third party exclusives for either platform (Xbox One hasn't sold well enough and Sony wont pay the money) so at most we'll see marketing and DLC deals.

Thus far we know about Leap Experience Pioneers, which hasn't officially been announced yet, so I think it's safe to assume there's at least one more new studio joining MSG. I hope they'll be announced at E3 officially this year.

What I would also love to see though is Microsoft nail down some partnerships as first party studios like Remedy, Playground Games (Forza Horizon) and Undead Labs, and if KI season 2 is great, Iron Galaxies Studios.

I would also be ecstatic and much more confident in their first party stable if they acquired other studios that they have been working with like Certain Affinity and Sabre, and instead of putting their talent on porting games, fund new IPs.

An ok list, though a lot there seems like wishful thinking with no indication that it might be true.

The 360 part is crazy though. The console is pretty much dead to MS. lol

I like the Xbox Live repack you said, plus, you forgot Games With Gold on Xbone... That is sure going to happen.

If you get developers to create content for 360 not only do you get those 30% royalties in sales but then you can introduce something like Cross Buy and not only could you strip away the disk drive and sell it for reduced price but you also get to lock people into the Xbox Brand.

I.e. Oh you bought 3 games on 360 which you instantly get the One version for free - locks them into the platform brand. Which I think is one of the success stories of the PS4.

The Behemoth is working on something for the xbox one. It would be pretty cool if we got to see it soon. But it usually takes them a while since they are a pretty small team. Crossing my fingers though.

How many will buy that 1TB SKU at $500? 500GB is enough for most people, and by fall, XB1 will have external HDD support and 500GB (even 2TB) external drives are still cheaper than $150.

I think a decent number would get it. I mean, I'm already at less than 80 GB on my Xbox One. I would have definitely preferred 1 TB.

Well they released this picture... lol

I want Castle Crashers 2

I'm expecting them to start off with a Call of Duty reveal and end with some Halo footage of some kind. Obviously, I would very much like it to be Halo PC. I'm hoping for Forza Horizon 2 footage, expecting to see Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break. Not expecting Halo TV footage, since rumors pegged it as "they're getting close to a deal," not "they've been shooting, have casting done, etc." Am expecting ~3 solid AAA reveals.

Go back and watch last year's E3, look how short those times really are. I could be wrong, but most games got less than five minutes. Nobody's doing fifteen minutes for a single game.

I suppose you are right, I'm overestimating by a bit.
Although I think Sunset will still get a decent amount of time on stage.

Drop Forza to about 5 and Sunset to ~10.
Scrap a few minutes off here and there elsewhere.

Frees up some time, hm... Announcement about reviving some original Xbox titles, sequels and remakes?

Halo 2 holiday
Halo 5 2015
Fable legends holiday
Gow 4 trailer
QB trailer
Forza horizon 2 trailer
Crackdown 3
3rd party exclusive
Japanese exclusive
Sunset overdrive trailer release date

10 of them

I really don't think we'll see anything for Gears until next year. Unless they do some CG teaser which would be OK I guess, I would rather them reveal it next E3 with UE4 running and looking great.

Do you guys really think there will be a price drop already? Sales aren't PS4-level, but it's still doing extremely well. I think they'll wait until next year.

I think it will because major nelson hinted at it last month.

Is a price drop effective as soon as it's announced, or days/weeks/months later?
Because I'm thinking of buying my next-gen console right after E3, and it would be a good reason to choose Xbox.

Extremely well is a touch generous. In fact, I think it's lagging behind 360 sales atm. A price drop is definitely coming. I don't know what they were thinking with a $500 price tag to begin with.

Actually, I believe it is outselling what the 360 sold in its first six months. The PS4 is unprecedented in its right, but for an average system launch I don't think Microsoft is in a great deal of trouble. Certainly better than what the PS3 was doing after six months, and Sony didn't drop the price on that for awhile.

I agree that the $500 price tag is absurd, and that's the reason I won't be buying one for at least a couple years, but as long it keeps selling I don't know why they would drop the price. A Kinectless SKU is possible, but that sort of kills whatever the X1 had going for it to begin with.

For me and as an Xbox One owner it has to be games, they need to sustain the people who they have captured and prevent them from going over to Sony or spending money at Sony. It's going to be about bringing their existing fan base back and proving that Phil Spencer can be trust worthy as head of Xbox.

I think we might see Call of Duty(when have we haven't? Though I'm ok with it)

I think we might see the next game Bethesda Softworks is working on, either Fall Out or something new that they can tout the cloud with.

We will probably see more of Quantum Break

Sunset Overdrive has already been confirmed.

I'd wager will see Mass Effect 4(or the new title)

The New Star Wars game from EA

Star Wars Battle Front

Unreal Tournament

I also bet will see Fortnight from Epic as well.

and I'd say will see the new Doom as well.

We will probably see the new Halo as well

edit some others
GEARS
Rock Band(maybe?)
Crackdown?

If they can do this, I'd be very satisfied.

edit

If they officially drop the price they risk pissing off early adopters like my self so I don't think will see something till next year.

There's already been a price drop, it just hasn't been made official yet. It is now extremely difficult to buy an Xbox One for more than $450 (incl 1 free game). All Xbox needs to do is to make that official for some free buzz and goodwill ($399 w/o the included game).

It is true that sales numbers are ok as they are but comparing it to the 360 is disingenuous. The market was different, with fewer preorders and online sales so the Xbox One (and the PS4) are likely to be heavily frontloaded compared to their predecessors.. Unfortunately, it is all relative and the only real benchmark is the PS4 which is wiping the floor with them globally. They have little to no global brand. They need to outsell the PS4 handily in the United States to just stay within a respectable sales multiple. If the current market performance continues, the Xbox One will have around 50% of the sales of the PS4 by late 2014.

I have a feeling despite all the leaks MS will have surprise for everyone. Phill will need to prove him self, and considering he is a big gamer and now he has power to control the entire E3, what to show and what not to show. Its going to be pretty awesome this year.

few min speech on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Xbox Live and thanking fans for the successful launch

3rd party showcase

COD
Witcher 3
Division
Surprise Announcement?

Upcoming apps?

1st party announcement

Horizon 2

I don't think they'll do an official price drop announcement and keep on doing bundles and deals instead, this would draw attention away from games and piss off the early adopters who watch E3 in the first place lol

I looked at a few places and the price has gone back up. It was just temporary just around Titanfall launch and Easter.

They need to or never talk about it again!

.

its not $450 anymore atleast here in the states, everyone has it back to $499

Na they just need to show it being used in a way that we haven't seen before in a game. If the physics demo they showed at Build this year is any indication, they could run some amazing detail on the destruction side of things. The AI in Titanfall and Drivatars in Forza are cute and all, but they really need to blow some minds with what's possible with the massive infrastructure they have in Azure at their disposal.
