I can honestly say that if you're wondering who gave/requested your current tag, you can rest assured it wasn't me. In terms of positive tags for good posters, I lack creativity. And I am firm believer in our internal debates about the efficacy of tags that negative tags don't work. Unless the tag is something flagrantly demeaning like "Stupid Asshole Member that Really Really Sucks and Should be Ignored," people are often just happy to have any custom tag. And if they deserve the kind of tag I just described, they probably just deserve the custom tag of Banned.
But those are why you are so loved. And appreciated on cold nights.
Heh, my tag appeared many, many moons ago, and prompted not much change in my posting style. Age has probably changed my posting more than anything.

The best mods are the ones who actually engage in the discussion. They share their own views and thoughts, let you know whether you're being an asshat or not. I can understand the outright bans, but it makes for better discussion if the mod who bans follows up with a warning or post about what was wrong etc.

This is so true and sad yet awesome. More of these days plz. At least once a year. I suggested a "Purge" hour once a yer when the forum can turn to gamefaqs and then it returns to normal with no memory of that hour.

Tags are dumb. Everyone wants one for some reason and some people make them into status symbols. I'm happy with my Member tag.
