Had a really weird dream last night. Dreamt that Nintendo had another regular E3 press conference, and that they revealed Ridley there... except no one cared. There was no applause during the trailer, and then a bunch of booing. I remember being really confused.
Capcom also revealed Mega Man 11 and it had an epic story that joined the Classic and X series together. Waking up was disappointing, to say the least.

Sylveon was only talked about because people were trying to find a Gen 6 'Mon that was promoted enough to make sense as a Pokemon rep, especially since the legendaries seemed out of the question. Then Greninja happened.

Where's Ridley would be the easiest finding book. That, or it would need bigger pages to hide him.
Also for some odd reason Ridley reminds me of Sauron from X-Men.
I'd like to see raiden in the game largely just to see how he'd play in comparison to PlayStation All-Stars. That being said, based on everything we've seen so far of the game it seems to be much more cartoon/colorful and I'm not sure how well he (or ridley for that matter) would fit in to the overall art direction.

I bet that if in the E3 direct, sakurai says "And here's ridley. He's the stage boss for the pyrosphere. We chose his other M design to match Samus. Unfortunately, he won't be a playable character in this game," the Ridley fans would STILL find a way to misinterpret/spin that and say that there's still hope that he's playable.
"He said the same thing about Zero Suit Samus. Ridley is playable."
"But ZSS was revealed seconds later."

So, considering that this thread is already over half-way done, and since the thread title for each thread is always a point of contention, I was wondering if I could set something up like a Thread Title Suggestion Box. Basically I would set up a Google Doc Forum where people could submit their titles and, when we're about 25 pages (@ 100 post-per-page) from the end, I would close the Forum and set up a new one where people could vote for one of the titles that was submitted, and whichever one ends up with the most votes by the end of this thread becomes the title of the next thread. Does this sound like a good idea to anyone else?
When more than 60-70 has half of them filled with the typical 9 starters, regional bird, rodent, and etc. we miss out on a lot of different kinds of Pokemon. So no, 60-70 is not enough for a new generation.
Any other generation this hasn't really annoyed me, but Gen 6 has bothered me about that. Previous generations didn't make new Pokemon to fit old roles (except Gen 5's B/W, but that is different) and had lots of old Pokemon appear as well. But Gen 6's distribution of new Pokemon sucked a lot. I felt like I could have encountered 0 new Pokemon in the wild easily.

Oh my, people really can't let Ridley fans in peace, can they? Smh.
There is plenty of reason to still believe Ridley might be playable. Not sure why people love to be jerks to the people who believe in that.
If Ridley isn't revealed playable next month, I will lose my hopes. But in the Smash Direct, Sakurai gave me reasons to believe he IS playable and I chose to believe in them.
I like it a lot more than getting another obtuse SoFI title.
