Iwata is saying that the 3DS hit 43 million hardware units sold worldwide. As a result of this strong install base, it's time to release software that can take advantage of the high install base. The things they think that will help in this plan are the next Pokemon game, as well as Tomodachi Life, which is releasing in June internationally.

I think it includes the time to load the game. The function was shown in a video, you select the user + the game, and it starts.

Iwata said in a previous results meeting that the 3DS is now in the profit part of its lifespan. So software is a little bit more profitable now then they were before.

Yea it got taken off right before the Ubisoft delay last fall, which had more to do with it being delayed by Ubisoft then it had to do with the WiiU version
