Seriously considering this game. My only "wait and see" part is the content - will this game have enough stuff to keep me going for a while? I'm all for short games, but the experience, at least for me, has to be worth the price of admission, and I've never been too keen on shooters in the first place.

And that on-rails boss fight is something I'll need to see more of.

Otherwise, everything looks pretty damn rad. C'mon splitscreen!

Agreed. That Kickstarter game Hover very much recalls Jet Set Radio. Sunset Overdrive... not so much.

Glad to hear people are hyped. I think it looks pretty but I personally don't get where this game fits in. Is it crackdown? Is it mirrors edge? Either way it doesn't wow me the way I wanted it to.

Very surprised to hear the positive reactions. I thought it looked super janky. I'm not an open-world guy, but the thought of those enemies all over the place does not look fun.

The bright colors were nice.

These guys made Fuse. I won't trust a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. they put out.

They made other games before FUSE.

I can see now why Insomniac went to Microsoft. Sony probably didn't want to fund a game so similar to Infamous and Insomniac absolutely wanted to do it.

More like Sony don't fund IPs they don't own.

MS doesn't demand IP ownership of games they fund, whereas Sony does.

I'm glad Insomniac is off to a good start this generation, this looks fun and good but not spectacular. A nice addition to this fall's line-up for Xbox One!

It's true that JSR did it first, but Insomniac has been doing rail grinding forever in Ratchet & Clank. Fighting a big boss while grinding is definitely something they've done in R&C before.

The visuals are pretty good so far, though the animations seem super clunky and the world seems a bit soulless.

I'm sure as development continues it'll start looking better though.

This is a style of game that I really have to get my hands on it to make a decision.

I am not really big into open world games, I need that delicate mix of hand holding and exploration. As long as the main story is guided enough to the point that I know what I am doing, why I am doing it and don't feel forced to do so then I could see myself having a lot of fun with this game.

Worried it might become repetitive though.

Look like Infamous x Jet Grind Radio except everything is like an electric rail and you have a gun. I'm legit surprised that it seems like it will play similar (although not as crazy imo) to the E3 video.

But is that our set character or can we create our own? I was under the impression that you can create your character, but now that we know that the single player is a seperate thing from multi i'm not sure anymore.
Hope you can create one, Saints Row shows that this is the way to go for such games.

You create your own. I don't know how in depth it is yet though.

Dont get me wrong, Ive loved every r&c game from 1st - ACIT, and I can just imagine it melting my eyes, but the last few games havnt been that good (Nexus excluded since I havnt played it, but have heard some meh things about).

Would just like a fun new ip like this.
