The bright colors are refreshing, but gameplay looks pretty boring. Slow, automated wallrunning and grinding, and I'm not impressed by the weaponry either.. Enemies look generic as well.
 
Game looks amazing, so much colors, fast paced, lots of action, lol at respawns.

For now this is the game that at least to me feels more next gen than anything else, but I don´t know if I say that because it is so different from everything else.

This is what I am looking in a shooter now, simple but very fun, valve are the masters at this, but this looks very good.

I wished Nintendo made a simple but fun shooter for the Wii U.

I will get a PS4 or XB1 or both late in the gen, going nintendo and PC but this really grabbed my attention.

Losing the Kinect is an easy way to cut $100 off and still keep the current profit margins of the box. So if the Kinect is pulled, on top of a price cut, the console can be $350-$300 after which is much more appealing to people who are just going to toss the Kinect then $400 with a useless peripheral.

Kinect is here to stay, there not dropping Kinect. They will drop the price ether by 50 dollars at E3 and give away one or two free games or just drop the price to 399, both with Kinect included. Dropping the price to anything less than that is just improbable. MS made the Xbox one to make a profit right from the beginning unlike the 360.

Well there's your answer. People like to talk shit about games, with good reason or not. If the IQ turns out to be brilliant, they'll say 'meh, looks drab and boring anyway'.

I bought an Xbone at launch. On Day One I took it out of the box to set it up and found out the hard way that it can't be stood vertically, it has to lay flat. Ain't nobody got room for that, so I set it up in a very shitty, sloppy, un-optimal way so I could at least play Ryse for a few hours. Then I put it back in the box and have been waiting for a good reason to go through the time and effort to rearrange all my shit so I can set it up properly.

Now I finally have that reason. *wipes tear*
 
this game looks SO good. that art style, man. those colors. i really hope it delivers. one more reason to love my xbox :)
 
Goodness, this looks even better. The fluidity in animation really is very impressive and it's apparently been improved since this footage was captured?

Oh boy.
 
I'm glad MS funded this and (seemingly) gave insomniac freedom to make this. Good to see some of my favorite devs cone back (hopefully) with a bang.
 
I am not sure how I feel about it, the colours are great, the weapons look creative and fun, but the gameplay itself seems a little weird and plodding.

Edit: Glad to see I am not the only person in this thread that thinks it looks slow.
 
And as for the "style" the game has with art direction and humor, it feels like they're trying too hard to force it in at every turn without having the substance to back it up. The part of the trailer I liked most was the respawning from a random weird thing, but that only seemed to work on a "What the hell?" level and not in any broader context or relation to anything else to make it funny.

On the whole this game comes off to me, to make an analogy, like a fit dude in his mid-40s with a heavy suntan and a tribal tattoo on his arm, wearing aviators, an Ed Hardy tee, board shorts, and Billabong sandals (the ones with the bottle cap opener on the bottom) leaning up against his custom Honda Civic (lowered suspension, aftermarket rims, neon underneath) while it blasts a custom mixtape that consists entirely of songs by Jamiroquai and Avicci. While plenty of those things are (or were) cool on their own, when they are packed together so densely into one package with little cohesion between it all, it just comes off as trying way too hard in a pretty lame way.

jesus christ... talk about "Trying to hard"
 
I like the colours and look of the game.

Has that Ratchet and Clank 3rd person with crazy weapons

Infamous wire quick movement (i know not a insomniac game).

Large open world by looks of it

Resistance style zombie monsters
