Well...no.. Infamous seems to have stronger traversal based on the small glimpse we've seen of Sunset (Infamous is faster, more varied).
But Sunset looks cool in its own right. Is Titanfall the other neat traversal game on Xbox One you're referring to?

I gotta admit, I was a little meh at the initial reveal, I certainly didn't think the game would look as smooth as that trailer. Having seen it in action, I'm amped up. This looks like it'll be real fun.

I wish I could say otherwise, but this game doesn't really excite me. The monster designs don't match the vibrance of the rest of the world, and while I appreciate a game using color, the art direction is a little bland. The gameplay doesn't seem to be as novel as I'd like. And maybe Ted Price saying all that marketing speak at the beginning turned me off.
I might be more excited if there was points for doing insane acrobatics and things.

It looks really good, but something just seems off. I'm hoping that it is because it was simply a first look. I finished watching it and I didn't leave thinking I wanted to buy an X1 to play this. Really seems like a mix of Infamous+Bioshock:Infinite, which sounds fun. I'm happy for all the X1 owners out there, you guys/gals are going to get something that should be fun to play this fall.

I didn't think this game would amount to much as I hated the Resistance games and the initial reveal was ass... but I'm getting Dreamcasty vibes from this video. What a pleasant surprise - game looks like a blast!

Mass Effect is a special case because of the EA Bioware buyout, so it's never a good one to point out as an example. MS might have first refusal rights as well for a set numbers of sequels to the original game kinda like with Gears of War.
Like ME id rather not wait 5 years just for that chance.

The industry as a whole moving towards games about...movement is very good. Infamous and Sunset Overdrive also have wide FoVs, nice colours, and hip shooting. All very good. Bring on more of it.

gameplay for the order looks immensely bland. but have you seen the penny dreadful pilot? the fact that we'll have seen an entire season of that show prior to this game coming out will probably hype it up for me.

Gotta say that I am much more interested in seeing the next gen power applied to a more stylized look like this (love all that color) and the effects look awesome.
This game really stood out at E3 and I am glad to see that the real game captures that pre-rendered video so well.

I like how the enemies behave. Even the lowest of fodder do things like perform a speed dash at the player, and even jump and climb up to even higher locations, something well outside what you typically see from most fodder enemies in games like this. They also seem to swarm a lot more aggressively compared to, say, Dead Rising. Looking at the player's movement abilities, they pretty much have to be that way.
I like how the different enemy types shown so far present different challenges and have their own abilities, but to see that there are so many more is also cool. I think I mentioned this already, but I saw a Fizzco robot or mech, some pistol packing enemy that looks human and is wearing a trenchcoat, some apparent animal mutations, seemingly modified human mutants beyond just having a leaf blower attachment, and another looks like some ultra powerful exo-skeleton built like a tank.
The rail grinding, wall running and platforming aspect seems like it should work out pretty amazingly for coming up with all sorts of cool ways to deal with various enemies, locations and situations. If all goes as planned, they've got a winner. The game seems to have the impression of a fleshed out sequel instead of a new IP.

Not when he returned it for full price, that's pretty good actually especially when the price is steady dropping, and maybe a official drop at E3.
I would return a lot of my stuff for full price just to see if I can do better next buy.

God the PR speak and the narrator were annoying. The game looks like some mindless fun, I'm sure it will keep people happy for a bit but I can't see a lot of depth to it.
The traversal looks too slow for my liking too, hope they speed it up.

Dude the CGI trailer was at last year's E3, not actual in game footage. Or videos showcasing the actual game mechanics in real time with the HUD.
Outside of 2013 E3 trailer and Title screen we knew next to nothing. And we hadn't seen anything.
Insider's that are on GAF, CBOAT among other's mentioned Sunset Overdrive was just outside proof of concept.
Some things feel rough, and the fact that during the video they show 2 enemy types, and the rest are just artwork screens.
I really feel this game is still a year out. I think the Fall 2014 is a place holder, to build excitement and get early preorder's going.
