Yup. You'll see it in any reveal thread about an exclusive for PS4 and XB1.
the trailer, narrator aside was sooo sooo good. never expected for them to show off so much, but i'm glad they did. this game went from a mild interest with hope to full on hard-on. its JSR movement with guns. dead rising zombies but more interesting. and a dash of infamous powers for good measure. i love the oddball factions, again a call back to JSR's gangs and dead risings psychopaths. just awesome terrific looking stuff. insomniac seems to have really knocked it out of the park. hope it can generate the same hype with the more general/casual gaming market to be a run away success. the devs seem to deserve it and i'd welcome this as a continuing franchise.
Just pass on the salt and add some pepper. It's all good.
Yeah I definitely didn't expect as much gameplay as they showed! Great reveal.

This does look like a promising exclusive for the XBONE. I'll be keeping an eye out for this one. I get a feeling that MS will have a very solid show this E3. Especially if they are showing this off already.

What the hell were you even attempting and horribly failing at.
R&C doesn't have nearly as much in terms of traversal. And it's open world. There's definitely some R&C in it, with some platforming and unique weaponry, though.
The vast majority are. You can't expect every single person to act rationally. That's unrealistic.

Finally watched the trailer. Looks quite good. Visually, it evokes a combination of Ratchet and Blue Stinger (Dreamcast launch title)...
This game looks hot. And the fact that it has a create a character option would make this game a day one purchase for me for sure, without a doubt. IF, it was coming to PS4 also.
But the fact that this game is console exclusive means I am being asked to pay 560$ + taxes = around 610$ just to play it. Now I already bought a PS4 this year, so justifying that kind of spending will be difficult.
All I can really say at this time is, I look forward to when I can play it.

Most people can't afford to spend $900 on video game consoles, so they have to choose one even if it means missing out on a couple cool games the other console has.

This is by far the dumbest post in this thread. It's like saying Gears of War, RE4 and TLOU are all the same because you shoot from an over-the-shoulder perspective.
Yeah it's unfortunate that people feel the need to bring their console warz crap into threads like these. God forbid we be able to get hyped over a great looking game or actually get to talk about it with out high sodium content posts, and drive by trolling.
To me it looks like Jet Set Radio, meets Dead Rising, meets Saints Row, all blended together and than adding the usual Insomniac flavor.
It's actually much worse than that. Those three games are far closer to being alike than Knack and Sunset Overdrive are.
If only having fun were priceless....

I don't plan on owning an Xbox One anytime soon, but this game looks pretty darn nice. I'm not sure if anyone here has spent a lot of time with Warframe but this game looks like it plays similar with a heavy dose of Saints Row thrown in.

Now there's a game i haven't thought about in ages. Didn't they have weapons in vending machines in that one?
I and many others literally don't have $900 (plus the games, plus the subscriptions) to spend on video games. Priceless or not (they're not and I feel bad for you if you think that they are) I can't buy both consoles.
I don't know, I think it was pretty sound since the weapons they showed had some pretty direct analogs like you said. The teddy bear gun has a nice idle animation but it looked like just a rocket launcher. The only thing that looked like an interesting variant is the helicopter with a handgun since it floats, which fits well with the verticality of the game. Though there doesn't seem to be a combo system, so it just seems like a turret. Fuse, despite the rest of the game had some unique weapons so they'll probably be better weapons (and combinations) they haven't showed. The trailer didn't really sell me on the game.

Exactly, why do people have to bring console war bullshit to this? I'm sticking with PS4 so I will probably end up missing this game, but I have no problem saying that it looks awesome and MS/Insomniac have done a great job with its reveal.
