I don't make Gifs but I put together this E3 Hype Trailer if anyone is interested.

Thinking of putting together a Sony specific one if time allows as i've had some ideas and it's quite fun making them but takes a while.

Quite honestly (outside of the pricing and policy announcements) the mere fact that FFXV and KH3 had trailers and were announced for PS4, alongside the push to support indie developers going forward was enough to make it a more than satisfying conference.

Game-wise MS had a better show though and may well again this year. Unless Sony pulls a lot of it's missing 1st party stuff out of the bag… which is entirely possible. Exciting times for everyone here.

Hey atleast they didn't tweet that the game was exclusive to the platform, like a certain major did with MGS5.

Well, my guess is that one of the Europe-based studios titles ( either Guerrilla or Media Molecule ) will be brought forward to E3 as their mainstay reveal.

The American-based teams are Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Santa Monica, San Diego and Bend.

The former 4 studios have just released a game in the last year or so, and one of them just got a project cancelled. That leaves Bend.

Bend is a capable team, but they're small compared to the former 3. While it's definitely possible, it's less likely for them to be working on an extremely huge project.

Yeah I expect them to be there. SE had FF13 trailers in every E3 conference leading to the release.

It's not in any way shady or deceitful. Nobody mentioned anything about exclusivity and nobody insinuated it either. In fact a press release directly after the show stated that both games were multi platform.

They wouldn't exactly say on a Sony stage FFXV coming to PS4 and Xbox One.

I've said before if you looks past price and the way they embarrassed MS by focusing on games only, that was one of Sony's worst E3s I can ever remember. It was just bad. So bad even my hype for this year is incredibly tame compared to every other year.

Welp not falling for their trickery this year. The fact is that Sony's conferences are the worst of the five. Horribly pacing and the content is rarely there either. Combine that with the fact that they once again grace Europe with this lovely time (strangely that is not the case with MS or Nintendo even if you could argue out of those three Sony has most at stake in Europe). It's just not fun to wake up at 4am (or is it 5am this year?) to be largely disappointed. Probably watching this the day after or something like that and skip the boring parts (which there will no doubt be a lot judging by their performance in the last four years or so). All of the big three - but especially Sony - could really trim down the fat with their shows. Closer to 1 hour than 3 I say. Not that I don't understand why this isn't the case but I guess it just simply means their content is not for me.

FF13 was first shown at E3 2006. It was there at E3 2007. It was there at E3 2008. And it was there at E3 2009.

I fully expect FF15 to be at this years E3.

Buying exclusivity of major titles becomes really expensive now since PS4 has been selling so high and that trend looks to continue. Thats a lot of unsold PS4 copies and unsold PS4 DLC that MS would have to pay for in any deal.
