Rumor: The Last Guardian - "I see the Insider".

Whatever dude, I'll Believe it when I see it.


Since the time it was announced (2007) there have been 8 AC games (portables included). It amazes me every time I think about that.
 
I should make a new alternate account every month before E3 claiming that Last Guardian is being retooled for the PS4 and will be revealed at the Sony Press Conference.

One of my accounts will eventually be right and I'll be a trusted leaker!
 
Why is this even a thread?
he was recently told that the action-adventure game is still in development. An executive at Sony Computer Entertainment did state that the company is waiting for the right time in order to re-introduce the video game to the public.

Sony themselves have said this very thing publicly.

Well... the first info about The Last Guardian we've received was from a GAF member that had a pen pal working at Sony and he described the first trailer.

He was mocked, but then his info was proven to be 100% accurate.


So... The Last Guardian at E3 2014, I BELIEVE!
 
Is there a reason people think this game is never going to come out? I think it's likely for ps4.
Otherwise what have Team Ico been doing all this time, sitting on their hands?

Working on other internal SCEJ projects. The team splits up every now and then depending on priorities.

I have always assumed "consultant" was more of an honorary title along the lines of, "Hey, yo...Can we ask you something about the game you started?"

It may very well be that he is a fulltime contractor working on the game. But the fact that he felt so compelled to leave the company he started (who, let's be honest, had a lot of free reign under the Sony banner to do what they want) suggests he was unhappy. So with that said, would simply swapping fulltime for contractor role be enough to fix his unhappiness? Was it really all about money -- he wanted to get paid more as a contractor/consultant? It is possible. But why? And leave his team hanging as well as his passion project?

I personally don't think so. I believe Ueda is there to answer questions for whoever is currently helming the project. But it's all speculation on my part.

I don't think that there's going to be any smoke before it's revealed. Which will make it more of a surprise no matter when it's unveiled. People at this point simply hope that it appears at the next upcoming show, but no one really expects it. So, it'll be a surprise whenever it finally does show up again.
 
Jesus that fucking trailer,I had forgotten how fucking amazing it was. I am hyped all over again. Instant PS4 purchase if this comes out.

No shit sherlock. We knew all that before, Yoshida confirmed multiple times TLG is alive and still in development.
