Is it bad that I want to buy the DoA5 Complete Costume DLC since it's going to be only $10 starting tomorrow when I don't even own DoA5 yet?

If you plan to buy the game, I guess it doesn't really matter. Best hold on to your money and buy them Botha to he same time.

To each their own for sure, to me though I'd rather feel happy after watching/reading something for my entertainment even if it means that it is lame/cliche/contrived, but I totally understand plenty of people feel differently.

I liked Clannad ending, but in that game/series there is only 1 character that resurrects. I'm talking about series/games/whatever where the author kills a lot of characters only to resurrect them later.

Naruto and Dragon Ball are bad examples of what I wanted to explain.

Brb, adding Flandy to the Soul Sacrifice OT.

Edit: Top of the page, buy Soul Sacrifice Delta. Don't buy CoD Vita if you value your reputation.

Yes... That's cool :D

You monster

Me? Even if you ban me now, but my legacy will prevail... forever.

Hey, what's the general consensus on the Vita Nyko Power Grip? I'm seriously thinking about buying one, but since I'll be importing it to Europe using Amazon (no other way to get it, Nyko in its infinite wisdom doesn't sell it over here) the price basically doubles so I really have to think this through.

Anyone over here has it? How does it hold up after some time? I read some pretty crappy opinions about the batteries Nyko uses - fast degradation, high faultiness etc.

I'm playing Resistance online...
I've got it for cheap and plyed through almost half of the campaign, meh.

The online got me because it's a handheld fps online, so I'm playing it a lot and enjoying but man...I see where people are coming from when they shit on this game. It's riddled with bug, often match-breaking. I just encountered two "ghost players" in two different matches, which can't kill nor can be killed....

Not sure where to ask this, and I still can't post threads, so this might be a little off topic, but...

My system now keeps doing this thing were I'll turn it off and instead of no light a flashing white light will stay on. I'll try and turn it back on and it does the dreaded double beep PS3 would do when it freezes up. I'll than hold the power button for 30 seconds it will than reboot itself in safe mode and I get a menu screen that says "The PS4 was not turned off properly. Before unplugging the AC power cord, select [power] > [turn off PS4]

If you unplug the AC power cord without doing this, data loss, corruption, or damage might occur.

Should I send mine to Sony? :(

Sounds like it could be data corruption already. Worst case scenario, I'd just back everything up I could on the PS4, boot into safe mode and wipe 'er clean.

As expected, BL2 Vita is getting poor reviews complaining about how the Vita version is inferior to the other versions. I feel like I've been playing a different game from those reviewers.

Pulled the trigger on the Killzone bundle on Friday and after four days of owning a Vita:

I'm loving it. Didn't I read here that you can disable the No SIM notification? Disabling Mobile Network after holding the PlayStation button isn't doing it though.

The IGN review lied again - I dunno what sort of problems his Vita has but my Vita's rear touch pad worked fine for playing BL2. Never skipped a beat, always worked every time I tried to use it.

idea factory - senpai noticed me~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

The press guy is a nice guy eh.

Well if you want to get technical, in Clannad
both Nagisa and Ushio died and were resurrected, and Fuko was in a super coma but was fine by the end
, so more than just one! But I definitely see your point with the Naruto and Dragon Ball examples.

Well it's no doubt inferior. I don't have the game (not buying it), but I can say that in general I hate the rear touch pad.

Enh, he's not lying. I've been having that issue too.

Funnily enough though, that's actually been sort of a positive for me because the stuff I mapped to the back touch I rarely want to use anyway. Limits accidental touches when it doesn't work a quarter of the time!

That said a 5.4 is pretty ridiculous.

Man, Ign is stupid X(

Borderlands 2 is a port of a huge PS3 game...expecting Killzone/Uncharted level performance on Vita (which both games were made ground-up for the Vita) out of a port that big is just...really unrealistic :l. I don't own BL2 Vita (most likely ever...didn't like the original much on PS3 :(), but seeing the game run on Vita at Native Resolution with a playable frame rate, having fully customizable controls and a considerable chunk of the DLC is very, very impressive work (Great Job Iron Galaxy :D!).

It really shows how peoples expectations of the Vita are so muddled; the system is powerful...but its not the PS3 many think it is, despite Killzone Mercenary proving otherwise :l...

The problem with Vita games from the very beginning is that people review them based on what they expect from full console (PS3) games rather than what the Vita is capable of. None of the issues make BL2 Vita unplayable, and the fact that a large open-world game can run at native resolution while maintaining 25+ fps for the most part on the Vita is very impressive IMO. Those reviews are way too harsh.

Sure it's impressive a handheld even have the game at a playable level, but that's only impressive of the Vita and not the game. The game is gimped, and it has to be compared to the other versions.

Does it have to be compared though? What if someone has never played the game on a console before? And it's not like BL2 on the PS3 was perfect either; many of the issues that they mentioned such as framerate drops and texture pop-in were present in that version as well. I'm not saying that BL2 Vita is an amazing port, but 5.4 just doesn't seem right given IGN's typical review scale. Vita trolls are going to look at that 5.4, say "lol vita", and immediately use it as fuel.

Edit: 6.3 for God of War Collection... Two different reviewers but still.

I think you're both right. The game should be reviewed in comparison with other Vita titles. From what I gather BL2 Vita hold up pretty well in that regard. At the same time, how it compares to its console counterparts should be taken into account. For example, Ratchet & Clank FFA is an entirely different game on Vita than it is on PS3 and it's worth comparing for the two versions for the consumers benefit.

There is a middle ground that most reviewers need to look for. If the game can't stand alongside its console counterparts, then that certainly needs to be addressed. But it should also be done while taking into account the Vita's hardware capabilities and how the game plays/performs on that specific platform.

I agree there; the game reportedly having crashing, freezing and slowdown problems isn't a good thing :(.

I guess its all a matter of perspective. People who are fimilar with the Vita are aware of its limitations and strengths, so when we get ports, we can grasp why they aren't up to par with there PS3 counter parts.

While they are some exceptions to this rule (the Jak Collection, Ratchet FFA...man :(), most PS3 to Vita ports are solid and are at a expected quality considering the hardware.

Sure, I would have loved having NFS and MK9 at Native Resolution or have Sonic Racing be a locked 30FPS/60FPS, but its nice that we have Vita versions of some of our favorite PS3 games :D!

The big point is, I get why Borderlands 2 isn't the perfect port to Vita, and glad the Vita has the game to being with; BL2 seems to be a good fit on Vita with its RPG elements and large open world :D.

Sure one can go online and source nice images for backgrounds on their Vita...but am I weird in thinking integrating them into games more (think unlockables) would be way cooler? I tend to treat any concept art unlocks (like in DJMax or Dragon's Crown) like this, but if developers called them out as "Vita themes" or "skins" I think it'd be great. P4G had something similar when you preordered and got the physical Vita protective skin (web link to images to download and use). It's probably way late, but something to tie achievements with UI customization similar to Steam's trading cards system would be great.

I never had a PSP, but I guess it has premium themes you could buy on the PSN store. Sure there's lots of sites for Vita-specific backgrounds/themes, but resolutions...image compression...just give me a one buttom, in-game integration @_@

That is an awesome idea. Little late to really implement now, but man... I could have seen that in LittleBigPlanet Vita and Tearaway, for sure.

Preach, I'm having an absolute blast with it.

Edit: I have realized I rarely agree with that particular reviewer though, don't like his tastes or the things he focuses on
