Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 7: How Can My Smash Brother Be This Cut

Don't blame me, but I honestly expect Krystal as a newcomer. Not sure if it will happen, though -- at least not without consequences (Like losing Wolf).
I never understood the appeal of Krystal outside of the fact that it's another female fighter, but there are much more interesting females to add.

I would prefer they keep Fox and even Falco the same, but give Wolf an entirely new moveset. Even just making him like his Project M counterpart would be good for me.

Krystal has her staff, which can lead to an entirely different moveset for a Star Fox character.

Star Fox Adventures showed that the staff has many built-in abilities that could be useful in battles.

I never understood the fascination of dismantling Wolf - the character who is pretty much unique save for a few moves. And Falco getting away with it.

A staff she didn't use mind you :P

Speculation on my side: Do you think Smash will get something similar like Mario Kart TV? Smash TV would fit very well. Highlight reels after matches could be funny and awesome. Maybe that's why we will get the 3DS version before the Wii U version because they have to implement it :-)

is anybody else s hype decreased after the direct?

It's just that they showed a lot of information in such a short time that they have to re-use what they already showed through the Direct in Daily Pictures. A filler, in other words.

We already expect more things, but I think they showed us too much. Can't blame them, but now we have to wait even more time for new stuff to show up.

Nope. Still the same for me.

Great...now i'm disappointed this won't happen lol.

Nope. Still hyped and the only character reveal that I enjoyed from that direct, was Greninja. I didn't think I would either because my interest in Pokemon kinda faded. Just not enough memorable ones from Pokemon X or Y for me.

Edit: I lied... I like playing as Yoshi too. :P

Pic of the day. Here's Charizard's new special attack, Flare Blitz. It's a very powerful attack--however, you'll take recoil damage if you make contact. Pretty true to the original game, huh? Flare Blitz is Charizard's side special move, and Rock Smash is the down special move.

And here's Mega Charizard X. This will appear as Charizard's Final Smash.

Here you go, Joe.

Whoa picture of Mega Charizard, just like Joe speculated(?)

Hope Sakurai explains how it works.

But Wolf shares a total amount 0 A moves with Fox. Why would he need an ENTIRELY new moveset?
That's true, I guess I just mean his special moves.

She could definitely make an interesting fighter (Sakurai has shown he can make pretty much anyone interesting), but as far as character that represents something cool from the franchise they hail from...not so much. I actually like Dinosaur Planet, but I always felt like she was sort of bland.

I don't absolutely hate the idea of leaving Wolf the same as, yes, he does handle differently, but it would just be cool to have second unique move set for a Star Fox character. I guess Wolf stands out more because, after one Fox clone already existing, it was surprising to see another one brought in. But I have no strong feelings one way or another; just a slight leaning towards a new move set for him.

Fox - Ryu
Falco - Ken
Wolf - Akuma

We need the Dan of this game, bring on Slippy.
Haha! Love it!

I thought that read "Based on the arcade megashit!!".

Lmao. I had to look back to see if it really said that. For a moment, I visioned the 's' and it would not disappear. :P
