So, potential new Xbox One owners June 9th+, your future 2014 purchases wish-list?

Well since X1 is officially $399 come June 9th, any gaffers who are gonna pick one up after the June price drop looking forward to any of the upcoming games?

Im sure it helps others on the fence take a new look at new ips like Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive and maybe D4?

While the games on the horizon do look good, make sure you buy Ryse and Dead Rising 3 as well, they're both fantastic games and I highly recommend them too!

If I buy an Xbox One this year it'll be for Halo 2 Anniversary. I might wait to see if Halo 5 looks good, though.

Before they announced the price cut, I had ordered the Killer Instinct "physical release" even though I don't have a 'Bone yet. But I definitely want Dead Rising. Ryse --- ehh, I don't know. Maybe on super sale.

I was going to pick it up hoping for a $450 announcement @ E3, the $399 announcement has crushed my expectations LOL

This has just propelled me head first into buying in June. I want pretty much everything they've announced so far.

Killer Instinct and Ryse. I'm more of a fighter guy.

But still on the fence about the 399 price. It's a tad high but with the right deal I might bite.

My top 5 games on Xbox One that I have played hours of hours

1). Titanfall
2). Forza 5
3). Plant vs Zombie and Peggle 2 (brilliant time killers)
4). Dead Rising 3
5). Max: Cursed of brotherhood (will be free in June)

Upcoming

1). Halo (any god damn halo game)
2). Sunset Overdrive
3). Forza Horizon 2
4). Quantum Break
5). New Xbox One software updates :)

Why did you not just buy one of the $450 bundles that came with TF, F5, and some Gold?

+ Sunset Overdrive
+ Quantum Break
+ Titanfall (I already have it on PC and Xbox 360, but PC version doesn't work for me and, as much as I enjoy the Xbox 360 version, I want to play the definitive version with my friends)
+ Forza Horizon 2

I only liked Halo 1 and 2, so a Halo 2 remake is absolutely on the list.

I liked Alan Wake, so whatever that studio is doing, is sure to be worthy of checking out at least. AW was not perfect but you can tell they put real effort into it.

State of Decay 2, hello!!!? The first one is great, with improved hardware and a higher production they can make a bigger game

Hopefully Forza gets back on track, 5 and Horizon were not that great like 3 and 4 were.

A sequel to the excellent Outrun game on OG Xbox would be amazing, but that is not going to happen.

I went into Ryse not expecting much either, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The game is short though so a sale would be a good thing to wait for.

I was never really going to buy an Xbox One and with PS4 getting my favourite franchise eventually with Tales and with Playstation very likely continuing to be the JRPG machine of the gen, I thought I should just continue to look the other way, but after feeling less and less capable of skipping D4 and after gaining more interest in Quantum Break along with hope that Gears of Next is good and this new price? I might just end up getting an Xbox One before a PS4......... Huh, interesting turn of events...

Halo 5 and Crackdown 3

The wait is real :\

Nah I want DR3 and Ryse but I guess that's not a future game

Not holding my breath on SO or QB yet. Have to wait and see

Halo 5
If The Division runs better on X1 than PS4 (it's the "content-exclusive" platform, so it may have better optimization), then that as well

I have a good feeling your mind will change after E3

I was waiting on two things:

1. Kinectless, $399 SKU
2. Banjo Kazooie

One of those has happened. Just waiting for #2 now.

Halo 2 Anniversary
Halo 5
Whatever the next Forza is (not 5)
Quantum Break
Ryse

Probably won't grab one until next year though, as my PC and PS4 are doing just fine for now.

I don't know, I kinda want Killer Instinct but still waiting to see what S2 is like... then there's Kamiya's exclusive Project NAGANO which I'm hype for. He even released a teaser image so it's confirmed that we know what it is.

The Kinect-less Xbox One is a step in the right direction but not quite enough to win me over. I already own a PS4 & Wii U so I'd only be interested in the exclusives.

With that said, I can see myself picking up a used Kinect-less Xbox One from Amazon sometime in 2014.

The games that interest me are...

- Killer Instinct
- Quantum Break
- Sunset Overdrive

I'm waiting for E3. Hopefully Microsoft really brings it. This pricedrop is meaningless to me as I fully intend to own the Kinect.

Primarily Halo 2 Anniversary, but also Forza Horizon 2 and Sunset Overdrive. Along with any other games they may have yet to announce.

well the potential purchase has certainly become more enticing now. I need a way to play Arkham Knight when that comes out so I'm waiting until after E3 to see which one of the HDX Twins will suit me best. it's honestly looking like the Xbox One right now. more exclusive games that interest me. read: Sunset Overdrive. also NFL games in HD at 60FPS is kind of a system seller for me. we'll see. one thing is for sure though, E3 just got a lot more exciting.

game list wise i'm still only interested in 1 (dead rising) and potentially sunset overdrive (if it improved on what has been shown thus far)

not quite enough to jump in yet, not for the price they're asking anyway. but in a year or so, when the price drops even further, and the games they announce at E3 are actually released, THEN i'll be all over it, and hopefully by that point i'll be able to pick up the likes of quantum break, crackdown 3, and halo 5.

Three games I want to play and a further price cut.

Price parity with a technologically more impressive console is not enough for me.

Massive step in the right direction though.

I highly doubt MGR Revengeance 2 is a Xbox one exclusive.

Sunset Overdrive. System seller for me, would have bought an Xbox One at even $500 for it.
yes I'm crazy

EVERYONE BUY DEAD RISING 3.

NO QUESTIONS. GET YOUR ASSES DOWN TO YOUR NEAREST GAMING STORE AND BUY THE DAMN GAME. DON'T MAKE ME COME OVER THERE...

Might I also recommend Powerstar Gold and Crimson Dragon. CD was recently had co-op patched in, so that's pretty neat.

If I can find it with price slashed to $350 I'll likely buy one. If I do, the main factors pushing me to do so would be Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive.

I've always been a potential X1 consumer - just waiting for the 1 TB Hard Drive / fall deal TBH. Problem with both PS4 and X1 currently is that people are going to fill up those hard drives ridiculously fast. X1 could have an answer if the cloud lives up to its hype, but I don't know what PS4 owners will do at that point - Sony may or may not have an answer for it.

Also, the entire "net neutrality" bit might blow up the idea of the cloud for a while if it ends up messing up network speeds.

I actually like the Kinect so this does nothing for me. Releasing apps from the paywall was bigger news to me. In the meantime, they're still offering a lesser product for the same price, so I don't necessarily feel the need to pick one up.
