Speaking of Fire Emblem, does anyone have any ideas of what might make for a good Wii U stage? The only game I've played all the way through was Awakening (which I loved), but are there any standouts from the console games that would make a cool stage?

I haven't played radiant dawn all the way through or Paths of radiance at all so I am not sure but they could just choose another notable area from F.E. Awakening for a Wii U stage.

Something from Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn is easily the best choice. They're the only console FE games that have been released outside Japan, and the only ones with 3D graphics (which just makes them easier to design a stage for).
I'm a little concerned they'll just port over Castle Siege and call it a day, though.

Ya know; with things like Luigi finally getting his poltergust, D.K. getting his roll and Link having his jump slash and even back flip as his backwards roll, it really feels like Sakurai is attempting to add things he should have and meant to add for the veterans all along. Who knows what other fanservice-y nods he has in store? Exciting!

Castle siege was so generic so hopefully we get something specific and awesome in its place. Arena Ferrox exudes character from the location in Awakening despite being barebones, details wise. Hopefully we get something on Wii U to do the series justice.

I would love for it to be in the middle of a battlefield where you have other soldiers nearby fighting. Just make the layout large and flat like Bridge of Eldin.
Edit: This would also allow for a lot of fan service by having series characters showing up and fighting nearby.
As I already said before, I'm glad I'm not the only one that wants Wolf back.

I definitely want Wolf back. He needs another shot at being awesome and viable with a revamped non shitty up B. He is so fun in project M, its ridiculous.
I'd like a new stage reveal, or new details about a move (whether it be from a newcomer or changes to veterans).
Also, please bring back Yoshi's Story Melee as a veteran stage. It's the greatest.

There's no way Sakurai is going to let that tournament at E3 happen without him. If he's not revealed before E3, I totally expect him either in the digital event or at the tournament before it starts.
Funny enough, I think something like that would work out decently for a fighting game, and I never really disliked Excalibur Sonic as a noncanon Super Sonic either, would certainly be easier to control
