Just finished the XBlaze demo. Pretty interesting, its just the first hour or so of the game. I think its a pretty good demo to show what to expect from the game and maybe visual novels in general.

Wait, is that 2nd game TWEWY!?

if you consider f2p garbage twewy tier then sure

Man. Remember the shitty Mako thing. Driving around a stupid planet forever looking for deposits. Even the ME2 mini game deposit thing sucked. I remember in ME1 the first mission where you have to drive the Mako I didn't figure out until way later that you could actually fire your guns.

Call me crazy, but I actually liked the Mako exploration. I was pretty disappointed ME2 didn't expand upon the idea.

Rebellion Run had a great looking artstyle until it was announce as a ftp runner, I didn't bother giving it a try. Really a waste of talent in term of art direction.

Where's Digimon?

In development. I think for that one they'll actually make it multiplatform like they did with One Piece.

The question is where the hell is God Eater 2.

Hope they're not so stupid they release it in the same month than Freedom Wars. Because the latter looks a lot better.

I'm about ready to go to hell in God of War 1 on PSV. Should be ... not ... very fun.

The PSV should get the other two HD God of War games... especially Ghost of Sparta.

I'd rather get God of War III... if they're able to make it work well on the Vita. The PSP games work on Vita :)

I love the 1st three. It's worth playing especially if you're a Digimon fan.

I also like the Rumble Arena game. Love playing it with friends.

This. I loved the first 3 games and Rumble Arena with friends.

Fuck the Mako. Glad they removed it from the other games

Also, Mass Effect 2 is best Mass Effect

What? They removed it in Mass Effect 2 and 3? It was amazing wandering through plannets with the mako. I don't care if those plannets were ugly. I bet Mars isn't that pretty either.

Man people like weird things. I swear, murderous thoughts entered my mind while finding resources on the MAKO in ME1, and the planet scanning in ME2.

XD It made me feel I really was exploring a unknown plannet. But I understand why some people could hate it.

And yeah, I think I'm weird. I loved Blitzball in FFX and the Gumi Ship segments in KH. Most people in GAF hates both.

I like Blitzball too but Gumi ships is another thing. I like the fact that in 2 where you only have to complete the track once. In KH one though, I didn't like how every time you had to move to different locale, you had to do the same gumi track.

I bought p3p, another long rpg in my backlog. I had the umd version so 5 bucks for digital for a chance to finally beat it seems like a good deal.

I think in the end you unlock fast travel.

I'm with you there. I like it. That doesn't mean I like that I had to do it every time I travelled to an old plannet. KH2 did it better and sometimes I'll go in a Gumi trip anyway, but that was my choice.

I loved building my own space ship :O

You can actually warp back to previous levels in KH1 anytime as long as you have a ship that has the Warp-G block (your ship design has to have it incorporated). You can get this block early in the game however, just after you unlock the Keyhole for Traverse Town.

so guys what do you think about "PSM 2.0 SDK Drops Support For PlayStation Certified Devices" News? is it good news or bad news?

What does that mean? No more SDK for people to even bother making PSM games with anymore? PSM only for phones?

it means PSM sdk version 2.0 will be Vita Only , and if you want to continue the support for the other devices you will have to stick with PSM sdk version 1.2 . Its actually good news for Vita , as PSM will be more optimized for this device now .

Well, even though I came to the complete opposite conclusion lol, from what I gathered the main draw for Android dev-types to PSM was that Vita was locked down tight when it came to piracy.

Might be a good thing, but still, devs like flexibility and the ability to actually sell games on Vita without having a 1 to 10,000 sell/steal ratio, might not mean anything if you're only selling 100 copies or something.

My Xperia Play is now dead. Lol

Although the question now is PSM catering to what kind of audience? PSM can be seen as a value added niche as a differentiator of Xperia phones/tablets/phablets while servicing the Vita but now it will be Vita only? Wut Sony?

IMHO If I'm a developer, I would rather choose creating native Apps now.

PSM development of games is much affordable i think, than native apps, but sum that to the new unity support and we will have more quality games on the PSM platform.. But if developers can afford native vita games it should be the best way to promote their games now.Anyway there will be 2 kinds of PSM games now , the ones compatible only with Vita and the ones compatible with all devices(Playstation certified). Althou the latter ones will have less optimization and probably poorer performance on the Vita.

It was so soon? I remember it being nearer Hollow Bastion than Traverse Town (iirc that's just after Tarzan town).

Now I want to buy KH 1.5 HD remix :(

Do you need that SDK 2.0 for Unity support?

You can make an app without buying a Vita Dev kit using PSM. That's the appeal.

Fair enough. It makes no difference to me either way. To me it just implies that Sony paid for this or something

Wasn't there some insider info last year that Sony was gearing up their own translation group(s)?

If I had to guess, they probably lowered their cut and provided translation teams. I don't see any good for them to be paying straight up for these.

I love that no matter its 8pm 8 am or 5am this thread is always active :D.

oh well, I have my graduation today and I think Im gonna gift myself Borderlands 2

can go suck a thousand dicks.

This game in general has frustrated me so much, something that none of the other games in the series I've played have managed. I hope GoW 2 isn't this bad.

I reached the
hell
in Muramasa as Monohime, how many bosses are left?
Graphics-wise Muramasa is better than Dragon's Crown imo.

“Our close collaboration with Sony allows us to release more and more niche games; Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is the result of this successful partnership!”
How is SAO niche? It's a jrpg, a genre loved by many, based on a successful anime, is this the new definition of niche?

Anyway that's the evidence that at least part of this recent big wave of localizations is the result of Sony efforts.

Namco and SAO apart, I don't know you guys but there's this general trend to diminish everything it's on Vita and i don't really like it.
Everything is a monster hunter clone implying that we are poor people that would like the "real thing" but we have to settle with poor clones(too bad that EVERYTHING is better than Monster Hunter to me) or everything is just a small/niche/indie game, don't you think that games like Gravity Rush 2, Oreshika, Freedom Wars and others on ANY other console(with relative down/upgrades due to hardware power) would be considered AAA or at least big games?

You have a point, and yes I'd probably do a portable God of War III even though it's not my favorite in the series. I like Ghost of Sparta a lot and wouldn't mind a good reason (trophies! prettier graphics!) to go back through it. ;)

im sooooo agree with this post. Its impressive how comparisons between Vita and console games are ok , but never heard those comparisons in 3ds games.

This interview with Shinji Hashimoto from Square was already posted here, but i'll post it again because the first time i didn't comment on it.
http://www.mognetcentral.com/thread...to-from-thailand-comicon-2014.1886/#post-8319

Man i would like to kill the interviewer, i mean he asks this:
-Q9 : Will there be FFX-3 or Dissidia for PS Vita?

and he receives this answer

-A : You want a new one!!? for PS Vita? Oh. I'll inform to the development team.

Awesome! Shinji will inform Square of the requests! OMG the interviewer is asking for Type 0!

-Q11 : I want FF Type-0 in English version, is it possible to make FF Type-0 as a CGI movie.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?

-About CGI, I will inform to the development team,

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'd say around 5...

Anime in the West is mostly niche. The fact that we're getting an anime tie-in game that is not Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya, Naruto, One Piece or Yu-Gi-Oh is quite surprising.

SAO is below all those games in terms of popularity. I'd say it's below Attack on Titans in levels of popularity. A game based in this series is quite niche in the West tbh.

God, I don't think everything is a Monster Hunter clone. I don't fucking like Monster Hunter, I think all those "poor clones" control better than Monster Hunter. In any comment I said "X is a monster hunter clone". Most of the time I said "hunting games" or "hunting action games". In the worst case "so called MH clones" which implies other people says that, not that I think they're.

I was just trying to add something to the discussion, since discussing is imposible when all the people just agree in everything other people has already said.

But, as always, Monster Hunter brings the worst of VitaGAF, for some reason or the other.

I really hated that part on the PS3 version too.

Is the game less responsive due to the 50-60 > 30 fps drop?

I guess it's true. Haven't read this manga in the longest.
http://gematsu.com/2014/05/nisekoi-game-announced-ps-vita

I read a few chapter back in the day (first 20 or so) and it was average and repetitive romantic comedy. It surprises me that this series has survived so long while my loved NuraMago was canned.

Fuck Jump.

Has they find another cow yet? I want them to finish Naruto already.

i dont think it was talking to you in particular , i think he-she was talking to the general opinion of Vita content on Gaf

I was scrolling down the trophy list and then saw dat Jet Set Radio HD for Vita I still haven't played...I'm definitely in the mood(because of the fucking game in avatar I'll probably never play :'( ) , but I should be heavily concentrated at study...

5 bosses are many, in dunno if i'll finish it, i should play with the guy too...

I don't know now or in the rest of the world, but in Italy when i was younger anime were huge.

I was not referring to you, but in general, imo the "everything is Monster Hunter clones or indies/niche/small games" is just the latest lie that haters spread to despise Vita.

I haven't had any problem with responsiveness at all. Actually I've really only had some serious chop in the game once in the sewer section. Other than that the game runs pretty well, aside from the janky graphics, but I'm used to that now too.

It's been awhile since i've played 1 but i'm prettysure you get it close to Agrabahs first visit, either before or after. In the grant scheme of things it felt really early to me. (and I felt incredibly silly for realizing it existed near the end of the game when I was younger)
The Dragon Fantasy games aren't ever coming to Europe are they?
I was really looking forward to seeing PAL versions after Book 2's US release but yeah it looks like they're never going to come over. :(

iirc, you're very close to the end of her scenario.

Yeah i'm prettysure everyone hates that section. I dread going through it every God of War playthrough.

And 2's not as bad thankfully.

The DOA5 costume unlock DLC must be borked. I bought it,installed it but the game doesn't recognize it and I can buy it again, which doesn't usually happen with PSN purchases. It shows up on the transaction history, but the download list is some CGI Scene of Ayane.

I probably jumped after yesterday's discussion. People were rather aggresive then xD

You aren't liking Muramasa?

Both stories aren't connected at all (outside the hot spring events when they meet) so you can finish without worries Momohime's before jumping on Kisuke's side. Both control fairly similar so, once you've learned how to play with her, you'll advance faster on the other side.

Well I've been fighting it but I need a 64GB Vita card. Now I just need to save up to get one.

Been enjoying Rayman Origins on the Vita alot recently. I've been enjoying it so much that P4G has been put on hold until I finish

Is Rayman Legends a big upgrade? I got Origins through PS+ and I'm wondering if it is worth buying

I ordered a 64GB card from superufo for $95 Canadian. Best Buy sells the 32GB card here for $79.99 so I think I scored a pretty decent deal.

It's being shipped to me now, but I found this on Reddit and a number of people verified that it's a legitimate site.
