Nice pitchforks, guys.

To elaborate, it's from experience. I've only dated black girls and the only one that had hair like that was part Dominican.

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.

Thanks for the insight. None of us interact with black people.

I could swear we just had this blowup on GAF about people espousing 'mixed' and 'black' as mutually exclusive categories.

Thread went in a completely different direction than I thought it would.

Feelings are actually hurt about this?

I...uh...wow..... So C-tier Dreamworks movie it is...
I HATE that Dreamworks has a tendency to get famous actors/artists before they get good voice actors..... 'Rise of the Guardians' is one of the few movies that did celebrity voice acting right

Pixar believes that getting huge voices that everyone will recognize is distracting, and can take the audience out of the movie.

That's one thing I really like about their approach, there are exceptions to the rule, but one thing I'll give them is they usually nail their casting.

This is the first Dreamworks animated film in a while that I'm dying to see. The fact they gave it such a stupid name pisses me off though...

It should have been called something like...

Hooray For Smekday

Boovs!

The Last Christmas Ever

Or hey, what about calling it what it is actually called?

The True Meaning Of Smekday

She's too young. The girl in the banner is at least 13 or so and I just watched an interview with Quvenzhane Wallis and it would sound completely out of place.

You're just a hater.

The more you call me "hater", the more I'm convinced you're 13.

The character of Tip is 11 in the story. Perfect for Wallis.

Oh please god no...

And agree to disagree on that one. She sounds way too young and doesn't fit the attitude [I'm seeing] at all. Haterade is clouding your judgement.

Rihanna voicing this? Count me in! I thought the lil kid reminded me of Rihanna when she did the curls for a while, guess they created the character off her appearance.

Good God I'm really starting to get annoyed at this forum and American liberals. Not only everything is about race and gender and you discuss it to exhaustion but now you argue who's mixed race and who's true black. If there was no context you'd think you're in a fucking KKK meeting.

I like the design of the character, in all seriousness.

The other subject...I'm trying my damndest to not say anything at all. I might reach through the internet and strangle someone if I do.
