I agree, this is a challenge pretty much comparable to an endgame situation.

I'm going to be very interested in seeing what the team's going to look like after we finally get over this.
 
Flareon and Bibarel made a baby, and I'm laughing so goddamn hard about it.

Edit: and we accepted the egg! PC time! (though with mail on all our mons it shouldn't be so bad)

Apparently Sunbrella had an egg too with some random male Roselia we caught during the daycare shuffle. But we rejected the egg.
 
Yeah I think they were grinding to make sure the next fight goes more smoothly. What really sucks is that we had multiple max revives that we could have used in that fight but we panicked and just kept attacking. We still need to either evolve Shinx or drop her though. She's totally dead weight right now.

My money's on save file is corrupted, backup is fine. If we have to start all over... yeah, that would suck.
 
Flareon is just trying to make sure this whole history of egg making is erased and is hoping the backups before the daycare situation get loaded.
 
The bibarel/flareon egg is apparently in the PC or so people say. As for the Roserade egg...well it was rejected anyways so it wouldn't exist either way.

Somehow the day with the least progress and the most failures turned out to be the day that has had the biggest impact on the lore.

Basically...
-We lost to Cyrus in the Distortion World, meaning now we have to climb back up Mt Coronet (which has a ledge on the way) and go through the distortion world again every time we want to fight Cyrus, without healing. Think Red from Crystal.
-We have tons of balls. We've been throwing them at pretty much everything, so we've caught dozens of pokemon in the last few days which are filling our PC. We actually want to keep getting rid of them though so trolls can't actively fuck us over when we attempt Mt Coronet again (throwing a ball in battle=free damage for opponent).
-The stream was shipping Flareon and Shinx, but then Flareon and Bibarel had a baby. We accepted it. FlareonxShinx shippers are going crazy.
-Roserade also had a baby with a random Roselia we accidentally caught. We rejected this one.
-We had a game freeze not long after, which reset us back to shortly after the Flareon+Bibarel baby but wiped the Roserade+Roselia baby out of existence. It also deleted about 20 random pokemon we caught in that interim.
-Right now we're just wandering around and grinding (which is good, we need to for Cyrus), not sure what to do as some people want to grind, some people want to just get rid of all the balls (there's like 80 left though), and a surprising number of people want to release either Bibarel or Flareon because of the "scandal"

Funny enough, yesterday when we were trying to put the exp share on bibarel we used our last rare candy on it. At that time only 1 b spammer was on for sure, but wasnt actively spamming b while we were all spamming A+X. If a down or 2 had gotten through to get the rare candy on shinx the a spam would've caused the evolution to happen immediately and the guy probably wouldn't have been able to react fast enough to prevent a luxio evolution. :(
 
There really is a never-ending supply of trolls. As soon as one leaves, at least one more is there to take its place. Also, it looks like we're going to have at least 48 hours between Cyrus attempts. We better hope we do it this time.
 
Lost to cyrus again, it was laughably bad. We did even worse this time because Sunbrella was asleep, Bibarel was dead, and right before the battle started we stupidly switched Shinx and Flareon, even though Flareon is (probably) the best lead for the fight.

Nope, Shinx is outsped and 1hko by earthquake, that's what happened the first time. Roserade can probably 1hko gyarados with petal dance though; her cut did around half of its HP the first time. Roserade can also 1hko the Houndoom. The biggest problem is Honchcrow.

I just realized though, since he sends out Honchcrow after Houndoom vs Roserade, perhaps Roserade is the best lead, who can beat Houndoom without any trouble, then get Honchcrow down to low health before dying and leaving the rest to someone else, probably Shinx. Roserade's petal dance is a 3hko vs the Honchcrow, but we're not sure how many hits Roserade can tank from Honchcrow. Probably not 3 with Heat Wave and Air Cutter. At this point Shinx will die to whatever he sends out next, (I assume gyarados) and then Bronzong can take care of whatever else Gyarados throws at him thanks to levitate. Once bronzong deals with Gyarados next would be Weavile which would probably kill it since it can only use Faint attack against it, but maybe we could try to switch to Golbat to take a hit, then when Golbat dies send out Flareon who can 1hko Weavile and get some good damage off on Crobat. If Bronzong is still alive it should have no trouble with Crobat.

Of course this an ideal situation. It could be made easier though if we could get flash cannon on Bronzong, so then it can also deal with Weavile.

The only problem with Flareon not leading is people stupidly switching in Bronzong. Shinx is 100% useless.
