Outside of Joseph and possibly
Jolyne
, the franchise isn't exactly known for its charismatic and entertaining protagonists. In almost any given part, the supporting cast is better than the JoJo.

I think Josuke from JoJolion is the best character in his Part. He's probably my favorite JoJo now.

I'm not sure if I can articulate properly why I like Jotaro's character.

I mean he's the strong, silent bancho with a heart of gold stereotype.
He rarely shows his feelings or emotions.

In many ways he's the opposite to Joseph who shares his feelings constantly.

There is something refreshing in a guy who takes no crap from anyone.

Same, although I pretty much loved it on first listen. (Stand Proud, I mean) That fucking ending with Star Platinum, holy shit every time I feel like my face is going to melt from the hype.

Yeah, and the hype is real.

The OP has grown on me a lot, I liked it at first now I love it.

I don't think Jotaro fits the bancho name. I mean sure, he looks the part, but he doesn't play the part.

Josuke plays the bancho part more.

Guys, please take any non Part 3 talk, or any talk about events that haven't happened in the anime to the JoJo community thread, the less of it here the better for those that are following the series for the first time ^^;

GET HYPE FOR FRIDAYS EPISODE!

Same here. Hence why Jotaro is so strangely endearing.

I understand why they censor Jotaro's face whenever he smokes, but it'll never not be funny/stupid looking.

Anyways, episode was good. I expected a little more censorship, but since
the guy getting killed by the hook
was quick and without much detail there wasn't that much.

It was nice to see Jotaro in a much more familiar blue color for part of the episode too.

This was always a pretty silly battle in Stardust Crusaders. I guess they did about as good a job as they could with it, but it's hard for me to give a shit about a perverted monkey who wants to bone a little girl. At least it's out of the way now, so we can finally get to....

Yeaaaaaah! Jojo is paying me a visit! Sweet! Hope there's some great action next week. :D

Ep 7

Little girl ass: okay to show
17 year old smoking: CENSOR THAT SHIT
Come on, I'm sure that
Forever
was over 18. :P
yes I know you mean Jotaro

Also I like how that melody from the trailer music/battle theme keeps showing up in little leitmotifs here and there. I love having a consistent musical theme.

So from what I understand
"Enyaba" is a mistranslation. The "ba" means "old woman" or "hag", and her actual name is Enya (a reference to the singer).
Though it's a lot more likely that they didn't want to get sued here.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Episode 7:

Not every battle in Jojo can be a gem and this is one of them, at least at this point all of the battles take up less the an episode so we can move quickly to the next encounter. Something that is all too rare in shonen. Yea, as other have pointed out underaged girl ass is alright but Jotaro smoking remains off limits. Good to know that they have the best of priorities at hand.

One of the problems of part 3 is that Jotaro is such a Vanilla main character, he's the cool and silent badass; Joseph had a much more funny personality, he's still my favourite JoJo.

this is how I always felt. Joseph has the comedy factor and a love for dress. At least Joseph still changes clothes all the time in Crusaders.

As I said last week the Jotaro smoking thing isn't their fault.

Blame the Japanese broadcast standards or something.

Ape does look suspiciously underage though.

They're gonna get fined.

Stardust Crusaders 07

This show has some of the weirdest censorship I've ever seen. Although I wasn't expecting them to censor the shower part, because that was in the manga and was probably trying to play off Psycho.
I swear the guy getting impaled in the head was censored less then the shark's corpse.
One of my favorite Stand users was showcased today
and since he was a orangutan and got the shit beaten out of him pretty solidly I wonder how a later fight might go
We're literally at monster of the week pace now. But since the Stands are getting more interesting about now, it should be fine.

Underage ass aside the orangutan give me good laugh lol, nice to see the production value still there and the music seem have no problem for next eps.

Dat little girl ass. Seriously though, Runaway Girl is adorable. She has a little piggy nose. The next two episodes are gonna be fucking great, especially the one after next week's. It's a shame they have to keep messing with the characters' names though.

For anyone that afraid runaway girl being an poster girl for creepy fanservice with this last two eps, don't worry yo.. I think its safe now but damn I just realize her whole introduction are filled with harassment..
But Araki's
desire to beating the shit off various animal is still on plate though

That was a good version of Strength. It's never been one of my favourite early battles but I think the music really elevated the creepy tone this episode. I loved the piano version of the action theme that played at certain moments. Forever also seemed a lot creepier in this episode than in the manga, it was probably due to the long cuts of him staring. This episode also had one of my favourite lines from all of Stardust Crusaders:
It's such a simple, yet hilarious moment and it's a perfect example of why Polnareff is so good. I noticed in the preview that
it referenced the "among us there is a traitor" so I wonder if it will be the next two fights in the next episode? Or is that just from right at the end of the next?

The dude getting impaled caught me off guard. Nice to see the orangutan's smoking not getting censored. Honestly after the impalement, the orangutan, and the underage nudity I burst out laughing when I saw Jotaro's smoking getting censored again. I mean it was obvious but still.

Also I thought the Stand was cool but I thought they'd find a smarter way of defeating it instead of catching the monkey off guard and punching it to death.

Just got caught up, enjoying this adaptation a lot so far. Come to think of it I didn't watch the last few episodes of Battle Tendency...adaptations of manga I've already read generally don't hold my attention very long. We'll see how long I keep watching this, at any rate I'll definitely be back for the final episodes.

The OP is good but I don't like it as much as the last two. However the choice of ending song made me burst out laughing. It's perfect.

He might not be my favorite Jojo, and Part 3 might not be my favorite overall, but he's the whole reason that the
Gambler
chapter is the one I like best of the entire series.

WTF was with the kiddy fan service? That made for some really uncomfortable viewing. So out of place too.

Yeah, that was actually pretty disappointing coming from Jojo's. There've been a couple of other small scenes with weird fanservice so far, as well. Hopefully it's not too prevalent during this part.
