Maybe I'll play both of them all the way. I'm kinda burned out on trying to plat the Muramasa story. Gonna go for the DLCs then back to plat Kisuke's/Momohime's.

As a rule, I don't really play games for trophies though.
 
I haven't done anything on my Vita but play VLR. Like, that's really it. I haven't even turned it off thanks to the suspense feature. Play it, suspend it, charge, play, suspend, charge, repeat.

Halfway done the branch system!

If you played P4G, then start with FM Character (it gives an interesting spin on the interactions between characters). As for the sale, it lasts until the store updates (Late Tuseday), so you can wait until then to pick up the game.
 
Going on vacation next weekend and would love it if Rayman Legends Vita or or Dragons Crown Vita would miraculously go on sale digitally this week.

IMHO For the best experience play as the guy first, then when you play as the girl you get a different spin as how the story plays out. It's the contrast between the two versions of the MC that's half the fun.
 
okay, so my parents surprised me with a PS4 today. :X

just some questions
(1) where do I change my X/O settings to make X Confirm and O Cancel (I'm using an Asian set)
(2) any good guide on the net that gives information/details on all the settings for the PS4?
(3) which HDD should I buy to upgrade the PS4 HDD?
(4) the bottom left corner of my console has a rounded edge... is it supposed to be the case? or is it a defect? (my new console kinda rolled out of the box and landed flat... I checked the protective film covering it, there was no tear or whatsoever that shows a bad drop or what) should I just go exchange it for a peace of mind? the console works fine, played Resogun, Mercenary Kings, etc thus far

Wow, congrats. Graduation present or some holiday or you have generous parents? And the only thing I can answer is 4 - the bottom corners on mine seems pointy. The top corners seem rounded somewhat.

1. You can't do that, unfortunately. X/O is region locked. I think if you play PSN/physical games from a region where X is confirm, it will work that way in game. O as confirm would then only be in the system menu/home screen.
2. You could take a look at the manual. But I'd just go into Settings and read each option. If you're playing on a PC monitor, change RGB range to full, limited for TV. And if you don't want to hear game music when you're on a game's homescreen (Killzone's starts loud and is annoying), you can turn off System Music.
3. A 1TB or larger, SSD would be preferable, if you're looking to upgrade. Here's the first one I found on Amazon, seems to be PS4 combatible: Seagate Solid Hybrid 2.5 Inch
4. Every corner is supposed to be a right angle, if the system works fine I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Also, if you're planning on using voice chat, I'd get a new mic. The bundled one isn't very good. And if you want to connect headphones and a mic to the Dualshock 4 instead of a dedicated gaming headset, you'll need a cable splitter like this one.

Haha excellent surprise, I just got one as well but I refuse to touch it until my last med school unit exams are over, can't have extra distractions!

I'll take a stab at #3, this thread had some info about HDs and best bang/buck. I think I remember that a hybrid HD/SSD gave the most improvement in load times for the money, and 1 TB was a good spot. Still around $100 though, so I'm personally still deciding if I should just get another one of these that I have in my PS3 and save $50.

hmm I thought so too until I realised there's a HDD inside... I wouldn't want that to die on me :/

- 27 months warranty (1 year default + 3 months bonus + 1 year extended warranty)
- 90 days PS+

Actually me neither, had a PS3 since launch day in Europe and other than those two I've only got two more platinums, both were obtained last year.

How often does the Vita MGS collection get discounted in Europe? It was €9,99 last month and for some stupid reason I didn't buy it.

Guess I'll go with the guy first, and then replay it as the girl. Thanks! I've been looking forward to it going on sale for a while, now I can finally grab it.
 
Hmm, didn't realize there was a crazy Persona sale. Guess I'll get Persona 2, and I think I'd like to own 3 as well. Am I doing a terrible thing by skipping P1?

Considering that the first two (or is it three, with P2 having two parts...) games are nothing like P3 and P4...it really depends if you like old school RPG's or not :l. I only got P3 from this sale (been really enjoy P4G :D, so more of that is always welcome), but I'm sure P2 PSP and P1 are good games. I don't think you're missing much by skipping P2 and P1; they might as well be completely different franchises compared to P3 and P4 :l. Still, all of them are only five bucks per game, so if you have the money and are interested, their are far worse ways to kill 15 bucks.
 
Anyone having experience with topping up your PSN wallet via mobile phone? A lot of people here in Germany use it to get super cheap PSN bucks and I bought some from Ebay.

I have read several times that you can only top up your wallet 10 times per month using this method but the PSN is already locking me out after 8. The first time I tried it locked me out after two phone numbers and the next day after another 6 sim cards. Now I can't do it since 3 days :/

Does it have something to do with me topping up my wallet last month with 26 &#8364;5 codes? Did they change the limit? What are the lockout times?

I don't know why Sony makes it so difficult for me to spend money on their store. Only the phone companies are getting nothing out of it.

I bought tearaway on sale for $15, and I kind of want to do this because then I make money on the game. But theres really nothing I want from target (my local target will buy my vita game, but doesn't stock a single one). Guess I could just buy PSN cards. Probably a moo point anyway since I doubt I have time to finish the game with how busy I am the next two weeks.

Edit: I would certainly buy back Tearaway digitally next time it is on sale! Just seems an interesting proposition to make money on a game.
 
Spotted a tiny hair under my screen protector, got it out, dust got under, then more dust, then in trying to scrape it from the protector, I peeled some of the glue off, leaving a visible white streak. And no stores are open until Tuesday. The worst feeling. ;_;
