Considering that the first two (or is it three, with P2 having two parts...) games are nothing like P3 and P4...it really depends if you like old school RPG's or not :l. I only got P3 from this sale (been really enjoy P4G, so more of that is always welcome), but I'm sure P2 PSP and P1 are good games. I don't think you're missing much by skipping P2 and P1; they might as well be completely different franchises compared to P3 and P4 :l. Still, all of them are only five bucks per game, so if you have the money and are interested, their are far worse ways to kill 15 bucks.
Ill say this, innocent sin was good, and its basically a 40 hour setup for the much better eternal punishment. P2 duology is fantastic and he'd be missing out skipping them. Eternal punishment is awesome, just for story alone. Only annoying things about P2 duology is the encounter rate, innocent sins is a pain in the ass but its not a deal breaker. Eternal punishment, i felt, was much better in terms of encounter rate. More sidequests in EP as well, and cool persona, and sprites. Also, the cast of EP is one of my favorites

Bro, im almost in your same situation, im doing an attempt at a neutral run in SMT IV, and the after i want to play P4G then Disgaea 1 and 2 then P3P. i still went for P3P and the other Persona because this deal is nutttssssss. They havent ever been 5 bones before, and trust me, if you cop now, you wont regret it later. Who knows when the Persona collection is going to be this low ever again

I would go P3P before P4. While P3 is still a good game, P4 improve on it quite a bit that going backwards might be a bit jarring.
Well I got P3P with this sale and got P4 from a more recent one. I'm sure P1 and P2: PSP are great games...its just that the RPG games just rarely click with me (hell, I'm really happy Persona 3 and 4 do; they are awesome games
). I really don't feel like putting money on a game that I might never really give a chance

Trying to finish Starlight Inception and I am really starting to hate the game. While mission 1-7 were easy as hell the last the missions get a huge difficulty spike, mostly because you can't see shit and don't have any kind of visual feedback of what is happening. The game throws many enemies and turrets at you but the UI is too busy and the camera way too close to the ship.
Trying to dothe last mission right now and it doesn't help that the game glitched on me when I finally managed to do 3 of the 3 things I had to do. Was about to say how nice it is that the game doesn't have any bugs before.
Annoying checkpoints complete the rage inducing shittyness of this game.

I really don't think that will happen; played almost 20 hours of P4G before picking up P3P and still had a blast playing P3P
. Both games complement each other anyway (similar gameplay systems, similar structures, ect) and being able to play as a FM Main Character in P3P really helps make that experience different from P4G (looking back though...it would have been cool if they had that feature in P4G ).LOL, ok, the mission wasn't glitched, it just wasn't explained correctly. You never needed to destroy everything besides the objectives, only this one time...
Don't want to lose so much time writing about such a bad game. i am just surprised that supposedly some professionals worked on this game. It totally feels like something some kids programmed after school.

Those untranslated import psOne releases are so odd, but I guess they are cheap licenses to acquire?
I can only imagine certain people being annoyed that they can't really play the games properly, they should carry a big warning on the PSN store.
I wish the PSN store was more like Steam or the iTunes store with regards to game information, screenshots, videos and reviews.

Yeah, I have been kinda perplexed by some of the games that have shown up on there sometimes. They're welcome for those who would buy them I'm sure, and I'd be interested in playing some of those games, but after reading the descriptions, it sounds like many of them would be impenetrable without knowing Japanese.

So I finally got around to downloading Time and Eternity from the Golden Week sale and boy howdy, this RPG is weird as all hell. Like, I can't even begin to describe it right now. The battle system is like a mix between Tales and FF with all the artistic charm of a B-tier anime. I plan on doing a LTTP after I'm finished with the gae, but man I can't pt a finger on it at the moment.

Gungho is the one that releases these super text heavy imports on NA PSN. They own the games outright, so the fees are whatever SCEA's approval/testing costs.

Talking about "new" there is a bunch of unknown japanese games coming up for PsOne in PSN. Why on earth i cannot play things like for example Rollcage 2 (Pal only game) man. I prefer a lot of Pal exclusives over these japanese idol bulshit games

So I bought Soul Sacrifice Delta Limited Bundle. No idea if or when or why I did. Between Toukiden, Ys, GoW, DanganRonpa, Dragon's Crown, Muramasa Rebirth, my backlog is growing too fast. Feeling overwhelmed.....

So I downloaded Skullgirls Encore last night as the latest PS3 PS+ freebie.
After the slow download of the game, I start it up only to find it needs a patch. That's not uncommon. But what's this? The patch that is 1.5x the size of the game itself. wtf? How is that even possible?
If that wasn't bad enough, I'm pretty sure the game has the worst soundtrack in the history of video gaming. Mind bogglingly awful.
